Hi, I just went through OsmoTRX project page build instruction and OpenBTS getting started book but could not find any build instruction to build OsmoTRX on LimeSDR. Would you please drop any material before I place an order for LimeSDR?
You can do that, but don't forget to update versions of all sub-repositories to the latest master. LimeSDR support has been merged into mainline since then.
LimeSDR is supported by the 'master' branch of osmo-trx by now. Please refer to the Osmocom wiki and Debian packages for the example configuration files.
Alexander Chemeris I compiled, but it's unclear which version of osmo-bts and osmo-nibt to use. Please, if you can, share the detailed information, if possible with cfg files. Also tell me, what is the temperature of the LimeSDR board ? I'm very hot with it. Thank you!
If you mean LimeSDR, then yes - it's a solid SDR. For the same price as HackRF you get significantly higher performance. Also check out our xtrx.io for the smallest high performance SDR.
Awesome, can't wait to try this when my Limesdr mini arrives!
SpoonMan The same thing for me !
I’d love to see osmocom-analog and NMT450 on SDR

Hi, great video. Do you have to program SIM card for connecting to the GSM network?
You can use any programmable SIM card - there are plenty of them on e-bay and Aliexpress.
Alexander Chemeris Super! One more questiin, can modern LTE handsets like galaxy or iphone could connect to make a call?
Hayoung Yoon yes
Hi, just wondering if all 3 components were build from fairwaves/osmo-combo project, including osmo-trx? Tnx.

Tnx for response. Yes, been using updated masters. I can see the network on MS but unable to register to it. Running on GSM900, ARFCN 975.
Artem G Send an email to the OpenBSC mailing list. That's the best way to get support for osmo-trx with LimeSDR.
Can you publish the configuration files?
