My advice on doing handstands onstage when you JUST finished eating potato chips is have water, rest your stomach first, tell the judge you've just finished eating so you don't feel sick on stage. If you vomit on stage, get some ice chips or ask the staff for some. (that's also what I'd do if I were Bridgette)

I really like her as a character. On the island she has proven to be good at everything, especially in sports, and her loveable behaviour has allowed her to make several friends and allies like Gwen,DJ,Leshwana,Courtney,Geoff (no one hated her, not even Heather).Then she had a quirk that became less present in subsequent seasons, perhaps due to the few episodes in which she appeared, which is the fact that despite being tremendously athletic she is also just as clumsy. I was annoyed that it was eliminated very soon twice in a row. Moreover, his character obviously had the problem of being too "anchored" to that of Geoff. Geoff without her, on the other hand, worked, as it did in TDI, also in RR.

With the passing of the series I tend to forget the fact that she is a surfer, which is very obvious in TDI and, indeed, ironic given her clumsiness. I almost want to say that the more you go on, the more the characters (a bit all) become one-dimensional. All characters become the stereotype of the stereotype. Bridgette is no longer the kind, vegetarian, athletic but clumsy surfer, but she is almost exclusively Geoff's girlfriend and the two have a rather honeyed relationship. That's all.

But TDI, despite starting from the assumption of being the parody of a reality show (which is in itself a horrible format), shows a whole series of dynamics, relationships, plausible and lovable characters. The dynamic bewteen Geoff says something stupid, thinking to impress Bridgette, like when he said she remember him the mom of one of his friend, was funny, but likeable and plausible. At some point the characters derail or start doing almost only one thing or become like a gag character. Courtney starts out as an authoritarian person, who may be annoying when she imposes herself, but then learns to be less rigid and "break the rules" like Duncan. Then, she becomes chronically angry with everyone, and "who cares about the rules I have lawyers". Dj in the first series was magnificent, then in TDA he only blames himself for the alliance with Chef and in TDWT he only blames himself for what he did to the animals, which always resulted in a gag where the animal is hurt or he was attacked. Lindsay was sweet, naive, a little dumb, and it's a trait she has always kept for three seasons. Then comes All Stars (the worst seasons as far as the characters are concerned) and she becomes a total idiot (same reason why Lightning is also kicked out). And these are just examples.
