We have to ask - what is it about Parker that makes him so settled, so ego-less, so human? It seems to be paying off for him, as he's outlasting many heavyweights. He has that fire back now, he has something behind the eyes and he wants to win. A pleasure to listen to him and watch his career. We're also seeing the era where the trainer/fighter pairing is paramount. Lee/Parker, Davidson/Joshua, Charles/DuBois ........ very exciting and the cream is rising to the top.

I have always rooted for Parker. Personally, I believe he did enough to beat Joshua, however, I also saw that he was missing a few elements to his game. Turns out that he was just a late bloomer. He hasn't taken much damage outside of the Joyce fight and he stays in good condition between fights. If, and that's a big IF, Usyk sticks around for another year and a half, I see Parker and Usyk fighting for it all. No one else, including Joshua, will get in Parker's way. When the rematch happens with AJ, I've got Parker by late stoppage(11th round TKO).
