- Many players were exploiting the vaulting mechanics to steal from the abandoned factory marked room, so I decided I would punish them for their naughty behavior.

@@HNDVN you’ll be surprised how many player scavs cheat to get more loot, aimbot and loot radar, they’ll hit esports worthy shots and for some reason follow you all the way across the map then run up to you and headshot you because they know you have good loot
Respect for waiting till it’s patched to showcase goofy stuff with it. The youtuber exposure made that vault issue really bad in the first place

That works, up till the people sit in the room and kill the person who used the key only to take the items for themselves. (Granted that they can enter the room before the key user.)

In the mobile version of Tarkov, Arena Breakout, this kind of exploit can't be done. You'll get an invalid action prompt when trying such things like trying to reach a chest from a window without using the key to open the door.

one of the most fun things was camping 301 by vaulting in and impact nading players who tried.
just go in naked, a pistol and a paca, and an impact nade or two lol
You protecting marked rooms and im protecting ground zero. i started scaving ground zero killing juiced lvl 10 chads farming timmys. Its my scav duty to clean up ground zero lol. By the time you scav in at the 30 minute mark...all the timmys are dead and the only thing left is pmcs with altins and meta guns/ammo. They are always in that second story bulding next to the parking garage waiting for people

Wow, so thats the room I was in.... Im really new to the game and some guy had me follow him into that room through the window and then up through the ceiling, then to the duo exfil. i was confused that there was loot in what i thought was an unreachable area.

given that they used to say adding vaulting would be *impossible* my guess is they don't really understand their own codebase / engine
so I'm surprised that vaulting has had so few problems and the problems there have been are quite minor
