- Danimal Cannon: "So a bunch of you noticed already that this sounds like "Annihilate". The short story is that just before the game released there was an unresolved contract issue with that song and I made this track as a replacement just in case things fell through. All the animations for that level were finished and there was no time to redo them, so I had to match all the programmed animations with this replacement song. However, at the last minute all the contract issues were resolved and there was no need for this replacement track."

Imagine a "dual mode" on jsab like the one on geometry dash... You control two caracthers and they are mirrored, but the attacks on each side of the screen aren't always mirrored, and if one is hurt the other one is hurt too

i was thinking this same thing but if the red one touched the red, it dont get hurt, same goes for the bue one but with blues. blue touched red, it gets hurt and you get the idea.

This makes me wonder... What if there was a 2P VS mode?
Where one player was blue and had to avoid the pink, and the other player was pink and had to avoid the blue? BOTH avoid white of course, as either an overlap or their own attacks.
The player's dash ability remains the same, but they can use the dash ability to ram the other player to take away 1 health point. Either that or knockback comes in and you can use it to push your opponent into obstacles of your color.
All-new tracks and levels too! Maybe a new DLC could include the new 2P VS?

For example: They are up against a wall of spikes, and you ram into them and they get pushed to the wall

no. blue blixer cant damage cyan as it is not a pink and red or pink cyan cannot be damaged by the original blixer who is trying to kill cyan.

This actually looks really cool! The only off thing is the Monster being mirrored, and its movements are just off. I don't expect this to be cleverly edited, but I bet there must be a way to make the monster flow better, since everything else does!

If it was annihilate only but the extra projectiles from destruction are still there this would be bullet hell
What if this was a mechanic in JSAB where you had to control both Cyan and this 'Red' at the same time and green attacks could only hurt Red, pink attacks could only hurt Cyan, and white attacks that could show overlaps of the other two or be their own attacks hurt them both.
Alongside this the two characters could get near each other to do a dash that goes further and even revive each other.
Perhaps even a co-op mode with two players controlling each?
I would play a JSAB 2 with that mechanic!

I’d like to think of it as this:
Maybe in an ALTERNATIVE timeline, we’re the villain, spreading the corruption (I’d like to think of it that way). The “buddies” you’ve made along the way were corrupted because of YOU, eventually everything got out of hand with everything or everyone else being victim to the corruption, or so? Eventually we arrive at the tower, where we have to fight the Boss (or Blixer cause everyone is now calling him that).
Eventually Blixer fails to stop you, and the last triangle piece is within your reach, but before you could use it’s power, Blixer swoops in, pushes you away, and let’s the triangle STAB into his head
Of course Blixer’s physical being can’t handle or even STAND the amount of energy the triangle holds so he starts to “melt” and therefore becoming into THIS (the blue one)

I just got big brain moment, what if we made a game where it’s just shapes and beats but there are two characters and two sides, one character can go through on color-one side, and the other can go through the other color, now imagine having to control two different characters at the same time, and have them watch out for different colors, one good to go through, one to watch out for, while the other one is ok with going through that color the other is avoiding.
what scares me more is that this level is playable...
