So its base on which hole you get it in, not the number of strokes it takes for you to get the ball in a hole, and thats with the default settings that sam used. So each time it goes in the crazy coloured hole it's a hole-in-one. this also means that if the stroke limit is set to 200 ( the max ) and goes in on the 173rd stroke it will still count it as a hole in one.
