Great information and ideas. The burner set up you show is really well thought out - it's simple, efficient, and can be used multiple ways. The bulk propane with the hose and quick disconnect is another nice idea. Thanks for posting a great video.
Thanks Stan. 1. How did you bevel cut the receptacle tubes? How many degrees? 2. How long are the legs? By the way, I followed every step you modified your stove. Love it! Thanks again!
Rowena, I made a simple jig which resembles a common wooden mitre box. I cut the bevel (5 degrees if I remember correctly ) first then cut the piece to length. I’m a taller guy at 6ft-1in so I made my legs a bit longer at 36”.
Stan, great idea with the induction cooktop. Could we use a jackery for it? Just for coffee and eggs in the morning? The jackery would get recharged while driving or by solarpanel
Yes you absolutely could. The one I use has three power settings, 600,900,and 1300w. I have a 1200w inverter so I only use the 900w setting and it’s great for quickly heating up water, a can of soup, or eggs in the morning. I love it! I’ll be making a specific video on my induction setup in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for stopping by eastside gas king lastnight . Really looking forward to watching the adventures .
Nice great way to save. Well thought out. Just found your channel from your Jeep tour on Kramer Junction
Thank you for the compliment. I have a Dempster highway series uploading soon. Stay tuned!
This is great 👍. Thank you!
Very cool cooking options. It was great to meet you at Yellowstone and get a tour of your rig. Happy trails!
Stan....unbelievable amount of relevant information crammed into this 11 minute video.
Nicely done.
Thanks Stan.

Great info! What utensil organizer is attached to your Trailgater?
It’s made by Overland Outfitters, called the cutlery keeper.
