if you mean chating is, the time he summon shooting star dragon, then he already have it long ago before the series start, remember when he dream about Card stones, where there are stardust and 2 other cards on it ? and also if you mean the time he summon shooting start dragon in opponent's turn, it is his formula synchron effect which allows him to synchro summon during his opponent's main phase.

Kaito is not Yuuma's rival, Shark is. Same like how Juudai's rival is Manjoume, not Ryou. Juudai never beaten Ryou, and Yuuma never beaten Kaito.
