Got back from the marlb sounds middle of February, 2 weeks on a farm, fishing and hunting every day. Went for a dive in the straight and shot some phat blue cod, then found a massive kahawai work up and had 3 hours of fun on light tackle. Shot a goat from the boat, caught many other fish. Goddam it sucks being back in aus 😂😂 ill be back. Your vids help me through till the next visit ❤❤

Yep, trim all the red meat off when freezing. This spoils easily and leaves a fishy taste. Also keep fillets as clean as possible so you don’t need to wash them and keep them dry. Then vacuum pack - comes out as fresh as it went in
Try getting a roll of paper towels, trim the fillets up as suggested. remove the red meat. sit the fillets on the paper towels but dont stack them ontop of eachother. put paper towels down between each layer if you need to stack fillets. paper towel on the top and wrap with cling film and put it in the fridge. Replace the paper towels every day for 3 - 4 days, then vacuum seal and freeze without the paper towels. Fresh
