My mother and sister were so afraid because they had just decided to leave the house for good (because of a toxic environment) they did not know where to go, where to sleep, what to do, so my sister prayed and asked the Lord, please God give me a sign, give me an answer, I am going to open the bible please talk to me! she was crying and afraid. once she opened the bible this is the verse that was right in front of her !!!!!! This my command be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. for the Lord, your God is with you wherever you go. Since that day their life has changed in a peaceful, positive and blessed way

Hi there. Maybe i can point to something that can help with your understanding. Read Isaiah 8: 19-22. God is very clear that those things are an absolute NO. You should find commentary and articles about this topic in relation with christianity, there's lots. Hopes this helps or starts to help
Just to add on to what Yolisa said, when God tells us not to do something, it is often for our own protection as well because He loves us. You might mean no harm, but if you or someone else is trying to talk to spirits, you might find ones that want to harm you. I would recommend you check out two other youtubers, Doreen Virtue and Melissa Dougherty. Both of them came out of new age and have some videos that I think might help you understand the dangers of practicing those things better. Hope this helps!
