When I watch this video, I can feel that the lady's voice does the deal, she is the protagonist of the song, barely shown on camera thou, which tells u something about that period. Listening to this voice and the lyrics u can see also why the Re 7 adaptation was so good.

Maybe the media was wrong maybe the family was missing since like 1986 or something. It would be so terrifying that the family was real. And maybe the family will turn into mutated ghost,spiders like people,or something that's really really creepy. That's song was terrifying
The singing is beautiful, especially the woman's voice, and while I agree that this song's message is a difficult one for children and they should not be forced to sing it if it upsets them, it's a part of life. I remember this song from second grade and then as well as now my heart was/is breaking for the orphaned goslings and their bereaved father.

What a screwed up song! They wanted to teach us this song when we were like 4-5 yo but it made too many kids cry. But they still wanted us to sing it!
