I use mine after a RND MBT. Absolutely insane colour. The vitalizer mkiii is an absolutely amazing unit and worth every penny. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in stepping into the analog world. This unit plus a few plugins and your mixes will just pop
@@DJURBANBG I did use it in a mastering chain. And some engineers do. It is a very good unit and a massive upgrade from the mkii. For £900 it is great value and will definite add some colour, width and coil eq. If you have the chance to get one. Do it. You will not be disappointed.
I'm curious between this and SSL fusionn as first unit. They both are in similar category with similar price bracket, yet there are no comparison of these two side by side.
Hmmm I haven’t tried the SSL myself but there seems to be a lot of used ones on the second hand market which says a lot. I would actually recommend a Silver Bullet MKII for a saturation type box.
@RapidFlow_Shop That's interesting find, in all honesty I never heard about it until now. I was eyeballing Looptroter Saturate2 and Freqtube... Will definitely go look for Silver Bullet.
I just ordered a Fusion and a Tegeler Crème. I do mixing and mastering for techno, but I think I'll add the Vitalizer too somewhere early 2025. Maybe it's time I put online some gear reviews.. and I'll make the comparison. But don't expect anything until half of 2025
Sorry to be off topic, are those the AIAIAI wireless headphones? Thoughts? I had a pair and the ambient bleed with the little latency was really off putting when talking into a microphone and monitoring. Keen to know if you find it ok?
Yepp that s them. I don’t monitor my voice while recording that would also throw me. I find them Perfect for jamming or recording TH-cam videos but I prefer to Mix on Slate VSX. The frequency response on these does not feel as flat…
How is this thing cheaper and ten times better sounding than the SSL fusion? The width it gives is amazing! I just don't love how it sorta uncenters the mid range a bit too much for my tastes
Where is the "best/typical" place to put it in in the mixbus chain? Before/after the compressor and or the EQ? Edit: Saw your answer "downstairs" in the comments.. :)
I have been using the hardware for a decade now and the plugin Is not the same. This thing has tubes and that plays big role on the magic of this device. 🤙🏼
Its a finalizer. Back in the 90s there was the Finalizer Pro, everybody had one. I do not see the need to have this device, is $1000. Is better to get a good software.
If you’re working with pro audio and super high end clients, the ~5% increase in quality from hardware is worth it. Audio is a game of diminishing returns… Also, the Vitalizer MkIII hasn’t been ported to a plugin yet, only MkII. Really hoping to see MkIII soon!

A true magic box you just have to love. The bass in soft mode and overall clarity ❤
Yes indeed!
i bought 4 months ago .. outstanding machine! matched with Looptrotter sa2rate-2
Enjoy it
Damn the improvements made by this unit sounds so good.
Great Video! Just what I needed to hear :)
I would love to hear a Mk1 vs mk2t vs mk3 comparison

That 18V voltage internally means a lot... probably doable with plugins, but this is much more "fun" and quicker.
how does it differ to the BBE unit?
No idea I ve never heard that one…
Nice unit and vibes. Reminds me of Kamilo Sanclemente.
sounding sweet
Would you put this before or after your master bus comp? Master Eq?
I would do it after, as the bass boost and stereo widening will have better room to breathe then.

The stereo widening also blew me away, and the low end circuit is really versatile.

Aural Exciter?
I think it is a little different, but quite similar. Like chorus and ensemble.
@ Will look into it, thanks
It should have a mix/blend knob
The whole processor is parallel... If you don't add anything you always hear the clean signal
Would love to hear it against the plugin. Seems worth buying

@@quantika72 of that im pretty sure with the tubes being live and real.

Every time I think I’m done buying more analog gear they pull me back in.
Oh nooooo sorry about the GAS!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣I'M producer since 2000, i bought this machine, you never get tat quality with a software.
And what software does what this does to this degree?
This all can be done with plugins btw!
Which ones !
This actually exists as a plugin also :) But hardware is easier to use IMO and has no latency and is easier to manage in a live context
