I would like to see a comment section added to the in-sim marketplace. I’m interested in reading the comments from people who buy an add-on (specifically aircraft) and give it a one star while a vast majority of people give it a four or five star rating. Even when I was flying on the Xbox, I stayed clear of the offerings from certain developers, although I did buy a couple of 777s from the Captain due to there not being much offerings of airliners at the time. Lessons learned though. Edit: After much thought, I think the marketplace should be somewhat similar to an eBay marketplace where if you’re going to give a seller a one star, you should give them a chance to fix the issue before you give them a negative review. However, given the backlog for updates to products already released, this might not be a good idea. I was looking at some add on airports and doing some math to see how many consumers were marking a product either a one or two star rating. The overall numbers were still low compared to four or five star ratings. The ones that stood out to me were airports that were rather large in file size (one had a 10 gigabyte file size), so I wonder if the simmers who are experiencing problems are on the Series S (for instance) or an older PC that has a hard time keeping up graphically with those airports. It doesn’t justify the two or one star ratings, but if it is a hardware limitation, then the simmer needs to be honest about that in a review comment.

For some reason, they modeled the proposed/never built Naval variant of the F-23. The exterior is actually not bad and looks like the drawings I've seen. The cockpit is hilariously bad. Gotta love the Russian ejection seat! (which they also used in their Typhoon!) This is heartbreaking, because I'm a huge fanboy of the F-23. These wouldn't be so bad if they were only a couple of dollars. But the developers want unreasonable amounts of money for what little they're providing.
The YF-23 from MScenery is NOT an YF-23. Its external shape corresponds to a naval version proposed by Northrop Grumman for the US Navy as a Stealth advanced fighter in late '90s to replace the F-14. Obviously, it never flew... The real YF-23 Black Widow II had a totally different tail profile (a large flattened butterfly tail), and a completely different stealth fixed exhaust system. MSScenery pushes out 2-3 airplanes or helicoptors every single week. While I would have more sympathy with a new developer just starting out learning to model planes, MSScenery isn't trying to get any better. They are literally doing 2 aircraft a week, where other developers take months or years to develop an aircraft. Producing something of quality isn't a concern. The developer isn't interested in getting better at their craft, they are just overwhelming the market each week to catch people who are unaware. That takes Microsoft resources to test and list 2 aircraft a week. I think that since this developer is not interested in getting better, and they are mass producing these aircraft, using up valuable resources, they should be banned from the marketplace.
Im genuinely questioning microsoft on why they havent even touched MSCENERY yet, if they want to have MSFS the most realistic they should remove them with their terrible made and copied aircraft (as in aircraft thats already been in the game before they made their trash version) And dont give refunds to the people dumb enough to buy them and not look at the reviews first
@TH-camIsSeriouslyFcked refunds returned should be a thing. I get the whole "buyer beware" and "read reviews", however, you can't blanket everyone being dumb for purchasing a product. What if some wanted to try the craft? What about kids who just blindly buy aircraft to have a full hanger? Again, can't just blanket everyone.
@@Koalateatimes that's the thing, sh**ty Microsoft refunds only give you a 2 week window to fully guarantee a refund, anything other than that it's just a small chance after the two weeks, or wait next year if you refunded too many things (which is bs because I only refunded 3 things and now I have to wait until December this year) And I was just messing around with the no refund business, but people should look at the reviews or wait until the reviews reach a certain amount before buying anything like MSCENERY's BS examples of aircraft
I don't get how there is still no moderation within the marketplace, MSCenery stuff would not even be good as freewares. I truly feel bad for people who thought they were buying an aircraft they are passionate about and ended up with a flying .jpeg. Microsoft is basically allowing ripoffs IMO
Many of these aircraft are available as free mods for DCS at WAY higher (sometimes full fidelity) quality. I’m shocked Microsoft even allows this sorta crap on the store.
I don’t know why he’s allowed to put aircraft on this game, I would never think about buying from him and it’s actually annoying seeing all his aircraft on the marketplace when your going through it.
Agreed there makeing money from unsuspecting gamers while putting low effort! Meanwhile Cowan sim and many others make extremely good models recently got the R66 Turbine best helicopter in MSFS hands down!!
@@TheInvisibleOrange26 Sorry, but I can't agree with your assessment that everything from 3.9 stars shouldn't be allowed to be bought. Remember that a score of 3 stars IS, in reality, the AVERAGE overall score on the market, assuming there's no '0-star' option. This drops to 2.5 stars if you.can award 0-stars. Therefore, the real range available is only from 1 to 5 , which means at a score of 3 (2.5) stars it's really deemed to actually be an ACCEPTABLE item to buy. So by all means, kicking anything at 2 stars or less, is a realistic goal.

Anything by Mscenery. Not sure why the C130 is rated so low. Its exactly what CS said it was....a visual model. I think people give it poor reviews because its not what they want and because it comes from CS. If I put a 3D box on the marketplace and market it as a 3D box....are people going to poorly review it for being a 3D box? Yep, that's the FS community.
That’s not the YF 23 ACE combat had the YF 23 they need to take it down and look at that game this is so bad I almost bought it and had to do a double take on the plane I will pass

@@Koalateatimes that's the thing, sh**ty Microsoft refunds only give you a 2 week window to fully guarantee a refund, anything other than that it's just a small chance after the two weeks, or wait next year if you refunded too many things (which is bs because I only refunded 3 things and now I have to wait until December this year)
And I was just messing around with the no refund business, but people should look at the reviews or wait until the reviews reach a certain amount before buying anything like MSCENERY's BS examples of aircraft
The first kitfox was awful. Haven’t figured out how I totally undo it. It always says it needs downloading
Inibuilds, Aeroplane Heaven, MSCENERY, Captain Sim, Cockspur and DC Designs are all the ones I avoid.
Absolutely terrible developers.
Of course, I wonder (again) What does a Russian ejection seat do into an European fighter like the MScenery Eurofighter???
How is Captain Sim’s aircraft not on this video?
Lewis, did you watch all of the video?
I don't get how there is still no moderation within the marketplace, MSCenery stuff would not even be good as freewares. I truly feel bad for people who thought they were buying an aircraft they are passionate about and ended up with a flying .jpeg. Microsoft is basically allowing ripoffs IMO
all the mscenery ar so bad it shod be band
Ello Stu.
Many of these aircraft are available as free mods for DCS at WAY higher (sometimes full fidelity) quality.
I’m shocked Microsoft even allows this sorta crap on the store.
As a real world Cessna 310 owner, it baffles me that the Milviz (Blackbird) Cessna 310 is so highly rated!? The flight model is terrible.
What makes it miss the mark?
Microsoft owe it to their users to weed out junk like this.
Those planes are worth $2, not $20.
Need some better standards.
I don’t know why he’s allowed to put aircraft on this game, I would never think about buying from him and it’s actually annoying seeing all his aircraft on the marketplace when your going through it.
My typo… I meant 21
Virtualcol E175?
Nope, rated higher on the list than what's in the video.
Unfortunately I ended up buying two of those planes and I was rather disappointed the c130:and the skyhawk are absolute garbage
I think we all expected them to be a bit better than what they ended up producing. Can’t pick ‘em - Thanks for watching Admiral-Mrs Aus
Probably something by MSCenery
That YF-23 doesn’t even look remotely like the real YF-23😂 no oversized canards for a start
Even before watching the video, I'm pretty sure that the worst rated aircraft will be one from msscenery
787-9
There's far, far worse than these on the FS Marketplace. Maybe people who like military planes rate lower?
Probably a plane that cannot be rated as it’s on some other market.
MSCENERY.....enough said. Capt Sim is almost just as bad. I dont buy anything from either. Low cost doesnt mean good deal.
Time to ban these low performers from the marketplace. Marketplace should not be flooded with this crab. My Personal thought on this.
Agreed there makeing money from unsuspecting gamers while putting low effort! Meanwhile Cowan sim and many others make extremely good models recently got the R66 Turbine best helicopter in MSFS hands down!!
Microsoft should keep the standards high on this sim and get this junk out of the marketplace.
Agreed! If gamers are giving it sub 4 stars much less 1.5 it should be removed
Part 2 soon?
Maybe.
The YF-23 looks nothing like the YF-23
lol I sense a trend 🤔 cough cough….MSCENERY
All voted by the people who purchased.
While ever people keep buying **** like this then the developers will keep on producing them. Support the Good Developers & avoid the *****y ones. Thankfully "Places" exist to try these things out & then enable you to make the decision to buy which Ive done when the add-ons are on sale that I use regularly.
The CS & others are just after yr money & dont care about the quality.. Support the good developers out there & U dont need every plane out there. I only fly the 748F anyway..
I cant understand how MSCENERY is allowed to sell their crap in the marketplace
Ahah where do I start
That YF 23 is not a YF 23. Why would you call it a 23 when its just a fictional aircraft?
For some reason there's nothing sadder than a bad msfs addon
MScenery seems to be notorious for poor aircrafts
I would say it would be better for MSCENERY to be removed, now i changed my mind. Its better for them to stay, so they can be clowned on and see how much people were dumb enough to buy their add-ons
Tbh I wouldn't have expected less then 4/5 aircraft in this list being made by mscenery. Please dont buy that stuff!
How are MSScenery getting away with this?
Anything by Mscenery
The worst is te CS C130.
The FSS E-Jets are pretty bad.
Planes for xbox players, no hasards they are all
militarians jets or planes...shame to accept that in ms marketplace..
Anything MScenery… I can’t stand them🙄
That’s not the YF 23 ACE combat had the YF 23 they need to take it down and look at that game this is so bad I almost bought it and had to do a double take on the plane I will pass
Mig 31
Theres no MiG-31 in MSFS
And no im not counting aircraft mods in MSFS
Mscenery is to aircraft what MSFSscenery/FSXscenery is to scenery. Guessing it's the same dev group.
Md 80
No that's a good one.
