I think it's fate that you were able to find big John again. You should save him, because who else will? Maybe do a series on body swapping big John onto a different chassis, one that be easier to daily drive ensuring it to be used for years to come.
My mom had a 65 Impala Super Sport. Said it was her favorite car. Same color. Had a head on with a Datsun pickup. Said she sent that little truck over a fence at 55mph. She was not wearing her seat belt but the steering wheel stopper her from going out the window. I would buy that one if I could.
Roadrunners came standard with 14x6 wheels, usually a body-painted steelie with a center cap. Magnum 500s, 14-inch Rallyes or 15-inch Rallyes were all optional equipment.
I have a 1972 Road runner int he garage. 440 Pistol grip. It has the power bulge hood. It needs a little body and paint and I should rebuild the carbs. I will get to it someday. Can't wait to see your videos on the 71.
On those old GMs/Chevys, maybe Ford and Mopars did it too, not sure, if you look closely at the taillights, it will have the year the taillights were made. Not saying its always gonna be the year of the car, but if all the taillights had the same year, chances are its also the year of the car too. Use that info as you will. Some taillights might be on cars for several years, but it will get you in the correct ballpark.
i would love to see big John back! I'm ok with the whole Mopar-Muscle stuff, but honestly it kinda gets a little boring because there is so much shows and youtube of these things. I like odd stuff and to me big john is more desirable then that roadrunner - but thats of course only my personal opinion.
A 71 383 Road Runner, green on green??? Sexy car, no doubt! Kinda remind me of Daisy Duke's Satellite on the Dukes Of Hazzard. Yes, she switched between her CJ Jeep (Mo-Powered, of course) and the Sat.
was neat seeing Big John again and Sweet Roadrunner! neat stuff at that auction will be keeping an eye out for the roadrunner to roll across your channel
I was there 2 weeks ago and thought you needed to look at that road runner lol. What is the odds you was thinking the same thing lol! I was really wanting the Internationals. They went over my budget.
Now That's McCool is your new channel, Dylan?? I like it. Maybe I'm late in time, so used to just Dylan McCool (which I subbed). You are my favorite Mopar guy! My Mopar history--72 and 73 Darts and Valiants on the drag strip. A 62 or 64 Barracuda 225 Leaning Tower Of Power, 73 Dodge D100 (318) truck, 55 AMC/Rambler/Hudson, a couple of Sattelites, Coronet 440s, a 65 Polara, and yes--a 69 AMC AMX, which had everything, from GM, Ford, and, yes, MOPAR! Also played with a 57 DeSoto with a 341 Hemi, and my neighbors ran a 68 D100 and a 69 Charger. Gotta confess and admit: The Ford 390 matched WELL with my Chrysler driveline. GM? Well, the cigarette lighter and radio worked!
Dam, as a younger adult who wants to get a truck and a job to help out his family's small ranch, i would love to be able to get that truck as a first vehicle. 😂👍🙏❤️
Excellent video Dylan :) & Byre :) also nice vechiles and nice find Big John truck at Auction sales ! Nice vechiles see there and Road Runner and Chevrolet Impala car should go for good prices !
You should buy it back and turn it into your ramp truck
I said this exact same thing 3 years ago.
I second this! Would certainly make things easier when Dylan buys more cars!
Lll
😊p@@tonydowd8566
Buy it back and make a car hauler!!🇺🇸💪🇺🇸
I had wondered what had happened to Big John. Hard to believe that was 3 years ago😅
I think your revival of Big John was the first video I watched from your channel and I've been hooked ever since!
was fer me
The Impala is a 65
The 66 taillights were positioned lower down
The 65s tail lights look like they were tacked on from leftover 64 tail lights
That green car is a 1965 Impala
I envisioned Big John with a 5.9 Cummins, automatic, & a new bed. Maybe even a ramp truck. That truck had a lot of potential!!👍
9:28 , no it's a 1965 Impala, 66 have a different grille in the front and 1 rectangular tail light on each side.
I think it's fate that you were able to find big John again. You should save him, because who else will? Maybe do a series on body swapping big John onto a different chassis, one that be easier to daily drive ensuring it to be used for years to come.

Love the 71 Chargers and Road Runners!👍
Big John needs a camper to really appreciate it. Don't you think? Its still pretty cool to see. The 4x4 could really be cool to get going again.
You should buy big john back and take the tow bed of the ford and put it on big John
That's gonna be a great will it run video
Beep, beep, beep! Look forward to hearing it run!
The impala is a 65...6 taillights was upscale model, usually an SS...lots of cool stuff at this auction
Roadrunners came standard with 14x6 wheels, usually a body-painted steelie with a center cap. Magnum 500s, 14-inch Rallyes or 15-inch Rallyes were all optional equipment.
Buy it back and fix it up
Heck ya! That roadrunner is sweet.
Awesome! You got the Roadrunner!! I can't wait for the video(s) on that car! I always liked that bodystyle..and it's 💚.
Nice to see big John again I hope someone buys it and uses it again
That make a cool car hauler for you
The GTX was The Gentleman's Hit Rod. Nice score on the road runner.
Great choice
I have a 1972 Road runner int he garage. 440 Pistol grip. It has the power bulge hood. It needs a little body and paint and I should rebuild the carbs. I will get to it someday. Can't wait to see your videos on the 71.
wondered what happened to that one, loved that truck
Yes! So glad you got the RR. That will make some great videos. Call Holley and QA1 now.
Glad you got the Roadrunner!
It's a 65 Impala.
Really? The website said 66. My mistake.
Yes tell by the taillights, 66 was flat and lame
On those old GMs/Chevys, maybe Ford and Mopars did it too, not sure, if you look closely at the taillights, it will have the year the taillights were made. That Impala was a 65. Round tail lights.
I nominate Dylan do the International body/ frame swap. That would be a cool project and shouldn’t be too daunting
i would love to see big John back! I'm ok with the whole Mopar-Muscle stuff, but honestly it kinda gets a little boring because there is so much shows and youtube of these things. Wise choice grasshopper, wise man once said if you return to old hunting ground you can be left disappointed. Great channel you man Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧
It's a 65. 66 had tailites under the trunk lid and were flush.
A 71 383 Road Runner, green on green??? Sexy car, no doubt! Kinda remind me of Daisy Duke's Satellite on the Dukes Of Hazzard. Yes, she switched between her CJ Jeep (Mo-Powered, of course) and the Sat.

This is just my second channel to post really anything.
lot of cool cars
Dam, as a younger adult who wants to get a truck and a job to help out his family's small ranch, i would love to be able to get that truck as a first vehicle. 😂👍🙏❤️
Awesome parts hauler or towing a trailer
You use it for what it was meant for, a work truck or a single car hauler/flatbed.😂
Hey Dylan thank you for the video
Yeah that's a cool flatbed dodge truck...
A 66 Impala has horizontal bar like tail lights not round tail lights .
I love road runners now he’s got a sick 383 in my second favorite grill option (I like the 73/74 grill better than 71/72) that’ll be a good video
I could definitely get into a series build of Big John the ramp truck. #goodbones
Excellent video Dylan :) & Byre :) also nice vechiles and nice find Big John truck at Auction sales ! Nice vechiles see there and Road Runner and Chevrolet Impala car should go for good prices !

I revived it right the last time. It’s lasted this long!
No, he’s not gonna buy it back cause it’s just gonna go to another farmer get worked like it should
As long as you use it, it sounds like a good deal to me

Cab swap ramp truck you know it's the right thing to do.
Good afternoon from Cape Cod ⚓ so you got big John back, what are your plans for it? It could be a real awesome looking truck 👍✌️🇺🇲
I didn’t end up buying him. But I got to see him at least!
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks
❤❤❤❤❤
Nice!
What'd the Impala go for?
I would of rather had big John over the road runner but to each their own!
The truck would be okay with a 6BT and swap a later model solid axle for better steering.
65 Impala !!! 1more time 65 Impala typical Mopar fan lol😅😊
Buy those internationals! That would be a great video and rustore
I wish I could have. I honestly got wrapped up in the Roadrunner that I forgot about them.
@NowThatsMcCool those were pretty cool but the roadrunner is definitely in your wheelhouse lol
That poor truck keeps getting abandoned 😢
To the best of my knowledge it got used for the last 3 years. Going on to a new home now at least!
'65 Impala.
That Impala is a’65.
Speaking of ramp truck Kevin is selling rocco cheirro
