@@ponczos_2293 so they had a lead writer working on the game for a good long while but they "canceled" him over his online behavior and because they didn't want to "support a problematic individual" ie pay him they *COMPLETELY* redid the story and started over, this decision pushed back the game at least another year and recently a few months ago they delayed the game AGAIN until late this year, keep in mind the original game was announced during the PS5 reveal and was supposed to release months ago

I still can't believe that a fucking visual novel of all things would be a life-changing experience for me, and besides like The Walking Dead or Resident Evil 8's ending there aren't a lot of games that actually make me cry. And to think that this was supposed to be a parody...

I’m still amazed at how a game made by anonymous people with Fourchan for a case of beer turned out better than a government-funded project. My respect and all the best to all project participants.

Downloaded because I wanted to laugh. Left with my heart torn out and a passion for the snoot. This experience was amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Fantastic work to everyone who made this fangame. You knocked it out of the park.

aside from the memes, this game is like goth dino girl and "i can fix her" in one package, but you can actually fix her (and yourself additionally)

I started the game just for the memes and giggles and because of why it is a parody game that is better than the original, i expected to do just a single blind run (3rd ending) and called it a day but because i was curious i just 100% the game and one person was right... it really fucking hits like a semi truck listening to this

I can’t believe that I expected this to be a bad parody game when I started it for the first time.
At the end, getting ending three out of four, I don’t think I ever felt this many emotions throughout a game in a while. Played it in 2 days non stop basically.
It was probably one of the best visual novel games I’ve ever played, I really didn’t think a game could do this much.
Same here man, ending 3 first going in blind. I'm genuinely glad that original game which was there to just push the current agenda, backfired into a game about authentic empathy.

Out of all the choices I made playing Snoot Game in this month, the one choice I regret… was sleeping on this game! Holy crap! How did I miss this diamond in the rough for TWO YEARS?
Same, didn't even know GVH existed until Dumbsville covered it and then didn't try it until I saw BlackLightJack’s review of GVH where he did a whole video on it.
Then the rest is history.
I've heard about it like a year ago but didn't really bother looking into it until recently. I think I've actually forgotten about it until one of the artists I was following started drawing IWHTG fan art. Better late than never I suppose.

In case you're not aware, this isn't the first 4chan VN. The first is goddamn Katawa Shoujo, a game that emotionally broke me as a teenager because I legitimately love Lilly Satou and that's never changed.

I’ve been meaning to play Snoot Game for a while but I’m afraid I never got round to it, before that salty Kotaku article finally gave me the impetus to download it. I’ve not finished my first playthough yet (just got Fang to switch the band to guitars) but the scene where the drummer to win an argument about “Pachystation” (cute pun) links out of the game to an actual TH-cam trailer of Goodbye Volcano High had me genuinely laughing out loud. came back to the trailer after finishing ending 4, I gotta say, getting ending 4 on my felt great. Gotta say, never expected a parody game made by 4Chan to be so good. Not to overreact or get to much into my personal life but I feel like Snoot Game taught me to love again, I know that sounds fucking stupid but its true. I loved playing the game, all the jokes and heartfelt moments made every second worth it. I haven't cried at a video game in years and yet the wedding scene at the end gets me so much, I love this damn game. I connected with some of the characters almost immediately, Anon is probably the closest thing to being exactly like me its ridiculous, and I relate to a lot of Fangs and issues and troubles. If you have been sleeping on this game give it a try, best decision you'll ever make.
So this is what you guys have been cooking up. Nice. And I see more of the choreography update (I get the feeling you guys are having way too much fun with that new Anon falling sprite lol) and more finished CGs.
And a release date for it!
