Nice work, you’ll be able to make some good blades from that billet. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas, thanks for all the good videos you’ve shared with us this year. Regards from Down Under.
Quick comment regarding the speed of the roller and the time spent waiting. I am pretty sure every VFD har a ramp time that is realy easy to adjust. If so, you should be able to reduce the ramp time substantially (both up and down), to make the mill more efficient 😊
You’re correct about that… however it wouldn’t pay to make the switching relays have to start the motor forward and reverse much faster. It’s 10hp and right at the amperage limit of the circuit… soft start with a bit of a ramp helps mitigate excessive inrush current on startup.
Thanks for continuing to share your processes in a clear and understandable way!
All of your billets and builds are always so precise! Love it!!
The knife makers version of Saturday morning cartoons! Love all the detail and the effort you put into making these series 👍
Thank you for your videos! They are most appreciated!
Merry Xmas and thank you.
Amazing seeing you bring this amazing pattern to life! Thank you for sharing it

Always appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us.
Different approach that I've seen yet, thank you for not hiding most of the technique as most makers do.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
