Istanbul is always very crowded, especially on holidays (I even got into traffic jams on pedestrian streets). I have been to Istanbul many times and at different times of the year, but it was in August that I liked the most.

@SERG PA Walker do you think August is suitable for a person who has a slight mobility disability? She can't stand in queues for 1 hour for example
I think that there will be no such queues (except for Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque).
