In distance during day, foliage and shadows kinda, don't render, its not as terrible as The Crew 2, but it looks plastic and floaty, and during some effect heavy scenery, like rain, it felt sometimes, too much, i guess that may be 'realistic' and good in some eyes, but going too much is honestly not that great, i mean we don't want to be in flods in our games.

You could always fix handling and police by modding the game. Revival v3 and Ressurection v12.6 made me nearly completing the game, the biggest issue is drifting events tho. I had to disable handling mod because it's so difficult to drift when Revival is on. But without these, I wouldn't even play this game for more than 30 minutes.
When I was 9 my dad got me this game and I loved it. I felt guilty playing a 12 at 9 but I loved it. I remember playing this game at my dad's all the time for hours and grinding. I'm now 14 and I completed the game a year ago. I cried. I miss the times where I would be playing a race and my dad would give me a chocolate milkshake. I cried. Whenever I play this game I always think of my old self playing. I have played over 500 hours. Rip need for speed and thanks for the memories.

OK... Basically, I love NFS 2015 and its not the best game since ya know, NFS most wanted 2005, but its a good game cuz of the graphics and the tuner cars. Don't forget to mention that there is a supra which is better. It is honestly better than heat tbh.

But still these aren't enough to make this game actually good,its handling model is so garbage. I'd take Heat any day over this failure wannabe Underground 3 and Payback. Glad you visited the game, shame we didn't met you. Friends and some people always dominate the events, specially on drift. NFS 2015 is the best, Some say the handling and mechanics are broken but it is really not. It have a high learning curve (not unlike the common series handling of nfs) and once you get the sweet spot handling of a certain car (after a lot of tuning test) The sense of accomplishment is wonderful and it will eventually make you play more than ever.
Ken's Ford Mustang is the best car in the game for drifting... ultimate performance...I was not able to complete many drift races which asked for 95-130k drift points but with this car I completed them in just one run.
Only because of the graphics it wont change the fact that 2015 was a mess with the handling physics, AI balance & specially beign unable to play offline.
It had gone uphill in my opinion. Rivals and 2015 sucked and were boring. The only reason I prefer 2015 over Rivals is because 2015 pissed me off less. Payback and Heat were a step up.

Then I see the crash cam, and then I exit Steam, *so fast!* I only ever play NFSMW2012 with a crash cam disabler mod, and this one is still always online, so I'll try again in 5 more years or so, because even though Heat has been good to me, I gotta experience *this* particular city some day, because I do love the vibe it gives off.
Just booted the game up myself for the first time in what must be over a year now. Man how the fuck did I play this as religiously as I did? The steering physics remind me of the drunk driving in GTA games. If I even breathe on the analogue stick for a single picosecond, the car starts turning, if I try to gently counter-steer out of it, it doubles down on on the wrong direction and steers my car into a wall, if I double down on counter-steering, it decides to slingshot the other way and plough head on into a wall on the other side. A racing game where it feels like you're fighting against your car is…frustrating to put it mildly.
The only complain I have is that following the checkpoints is hard in this game, you have to look at the map all the time. The signals are only a number.... and the arrows on the floor get blocked by everything. Payback made it so much better.
You know alot of people hate TAA on this, i think it actually fits quite well, considering its only purpose here is to blend Live Action Cutscenes and gameplay smoothly without looking shit, its quite good.

I loved how this game looked, but the main way of turning was drifting and drifting felt like driving on rails until you stopped drifting. But still the customization was insane at the time and the graphics are still good today.

Not everything with a Supra is better. The game has some problems in the physics. Specially the walls.
