@@MuzikkZone Thanks for the feedback and the information. This sounds great, but i see some problems. The user has a beat and switches on 16 level for the velocity hi hat. Then he wants to keep the beat playing and record the hats with his external controller. The problem here is that the plugin can't make a difference between the original beat and the hats the user play with exact the same MIDI notes (the controller has still the same settings). There are also other problems. The user can't just record the controller session. He would need to record our plugins MIDI output because we have to translate the different noteOn events to the one hat note with different velocities. Maybe someone has an idea how this could be done.
@@MuzikkZone I just had an idea how it would work. You need to do this on your pad based MIDI controller. Just program 17 different presets. One preset is the default that has to ordinary note assignments. The first preset has the MIDI note of pad 1 assigned to all pads with a different velocity for each pad (pad 0 -> small velocity, pad 16 high velocty). The second preset the note of pad 2.. and so on. This way you can switch to the midi controller preset where you want to have LEVEL 16 mode and play it on the pads with different velocities. You just need to turn up the velocity control in the plugin for that pad.
