Very informative I liked the fact that you didn’t just tell us what to use but how to use them and what they are meant to do and how often they can be used
I would recommend rinsing off after using the Iron remover. As the particles will still stay on the rim (Mostly) and scratch up when using the brush. Rinse first, iron remover, rinse again and THEN clean with the brush.
Agree.... Work clean.... I'm actually so ocd I I'd rise the brush when doing the barrel. You can imagine how much abrasive brake dust will be in that bucket by the time you get to the last wheel
When you started the video I thought the wheels are gray and wasn't that much dirty. Wow, after cleaning I realize the wheels are diamond cut! Thanks for the video. I was just using Diablo gel for cleaning my wheels and I had some dirty spots left behind because of the iron. Will buy the DeconPro now.
People need to be careful with brake dust especially on colored wheels. If your wheels are not clear coat protected it can fade the color. I suggest getting brake pads that don’t create so much dust. Ceramic pads. Learned the hard way on my hellcat with factory brass rims and I cleaned them almost everyday with chemical guys products.
Nice video, came out great, I’ll be picking up the hydro spin as I’ve been looking for a quick detailed designed for wheels. One thing though is 20 minutes for one wheel seems like a lot of time, even if it was 10 minutes you’re looking at 40 mins just to do the wheels. CG should do a video series for people short on time but still want good but maybe not the best results.
I enjoy watching all the chemical guys videos, but in every single video the music is always so much louder than the talking. It can be kind of frustrating especially when watching with headphones because I have to adjust the volume constantly.
I just ordered a mystery bucket since I follow you guys on IG I usually respond to the notifications first before others and I’m hoping I get some Decon in the bucket. I’ve only got it once and it works really good.
Lucky enough to have this car. Unlucky enough to still have these wheels. You can't get to the barrel behind the calipers unless you drive it a foot or so. Also, this is like a 20 minute per wheel job (for me anyway). Only gripe I have have about the car.
Hey! Check out Total Extract to thoroughly clean your tires. www.chemicalguys.com/total-extract-tire-and-rubber-cleaner/CLD30216.html?gtmListValue=Internal%20Search
Hi Carlos! HydroSpin can be used to protect and maintain your glossy painted, OEM, alloy, powder coated, clear coated, chrome, and anodized wheel finishes.
Amazing stuff, thank you! I'm finding after applying the wheel cleaner that my brake discs are turning brown/orange beneath and no amount of rinsing/wiping/scrubbing is bringing them clean. What am I doing wrong? It's a 66-plate Mercedes B Class
Hey! This is normal since the rotor is a bare surface that will oxidize when wet however once the brakes are applied after a short drive the rotors will self clean and look normal again.
Do you recommend any prespray for the car before a rinse? Like a spray to presoak bugs, tar, rough dirt, bee poop(a spray to loosen these debris so that when I rinse the car it’ll come off)

@thatdtailguy diablo is a cleaner but you still need an iron remover

which product should i be looking for to clean matte wheels that arent black? thanks!
What product is good for brakes that rust in the rain
Hi there! The rotor will have a brownish finish due to light oxidation when wet but as you depress the brake pedal it will self clean the rotor face.
Ordered a bottle of diablo wheel and tire cleaner.
You're going to love it!!
When making videos like this one (tires/rims) I suggest using a car that has silver rims, not black.
Thanks so much for your feedback!
I washed my tires with the sticky citrus and the tires look brown. Is that permanent or can do something about itb
Hey! A clean tire will actually appear brown due to blooming. Use your favorite dressing to add gloss and protection.
Can you apply a tire shine on top of the hydroshield ?
Absolutely! Add your desired shine level by layering HydroShield.
always enjoy your videos well done CG
Glad to hear it!!
Hey guys, thx for your videos. You guys do an excellent job. What brand is your red washer pressure hose ?
Hey! Thanks so much for watching.
Absolutely amazing 10/10
Glad you enjoyed the video!
How come you didn't use the VRP cleaner?
Hi there! VRP is also a great choice for adding protection and some shine to vinyl, rubber and plastic components.
Wouldn't it be better to finish the wheels with jet seal?
JetSeal is a great way to add protection that lasts up to 12 months.
what happen to your product called grim reaper.
Hi Betsy! Thanks so much for tuning in. Grime Reaper has been discontinued.
@@ChemicalGuys ok thank you
Do y'all recommend taking the wheels off the car for further deep cleaning?
Hey Tim! If so desired, you can remove the wheel for a thorough cleaning.
Any tips on removing the paste used when swapping tyres? Stuff hates to come off

Is Hydro spin safe on all rim surfaces and finishes?
Hi Carlos! HydroSpin can be used to protect and maintain your glossy painted, OEM, alloy, powder coated, clear coated, chrome, and anodized wheel finishes.
Looks awesome

Will it be a bad idea to use that orange degreaser on my tires since that degreaser is bad for my aluminum wheels?
Hi Jay! Signature Series Orange Degreaser is safe for aluminum wheels.
