I need a plug and play 4 TB music storage and streaming device that allows me to access my hard drive or streaming services at home and on the road. Does such a device exist?
Tidal/Deezer Hifi - via Cambridge Edge NX - 35 years in the game - I remember when CD's 1st acme out - have they surpassed CD now? - Yes and by some considerable margin too - and I heard Tracy Chapman playing on Krell viq Audio Research into 4 Mark Levinson's hooked up to Infinity RSV's because I sold them!!! - It was good, great even but no-where near what can be achieved today with HQ Stream
@Don_Coyote actually that’s not true…. Tidal has most music available in 24 bit. My gear measures and displays sample rates and bit depth. I’m on the hifi plus tear for that purpose. As I’m assuming your with quobuz…. That’s fine too but Tidal is exceptional with quality streams, measured sample rates don’t lie….
And where is the best of them all? The Cambridge Edge NQ? Which is the absolute bomb and the best and best used with active speakers for a low budget hi end system I use mine with Beolab 5's so powerful I had to move house!!!!
All hype and b*******you can't beat I never solo unit for that kind of investment I don't care who made it glad I got rid of the high five Rose I'm 3500 ahead of the game I don't notice any big difference but my pocket does
Definitely an EverSolo DMP-A6 - best quality for the reasonable price compared with rock solid build quality.

Well, you mixed gear like streamer /with DAC /with pre- /with power amp. All of these could be separate categories.

Why is Amazon music never mentioned along side Tidal or Spotify? Is better then both of them.

Have tried Gryphon Diablo 300? They run high current full time like an class A even if it’s A/B. An the DAC has true Class A analog section.
It doesn’t play Apple Music hi res lossless , the Eversolo A6 does

CD quality my ass. I have yet to hear a stream that sounds as good as a CD.

Tidal is better… also next month full size flac files so ….I use bluesound node,never use my cd’s any more.
