Seriously well said brother! I remember when people would do vr videos and ask not to be entered in the drawing or what ever, just did it for support. Its one of the things that slowed me down on doing videos. Can't wait to hang out at National!
Mike, I usually don’t get too involved in videos beyond showing and talking about cards because I view TH-cam as a place to relax from “real” life issues. Your message is spot on. I couldn’t have said it better myself. I know you’re speaking from the heart, my friend. Thanks for sharing.

A good rant. These type of rants are some times necessary and you make some good points. The care packages is an interesting point. I don't post videos myself though, I don't know if I would feel comfortable. Rather them send cards to charity or children's hospital even if their intentions were good.
Mike, I LOVED this video. This (along with the new Mangini video) may be the best videos I have seen in a LONG time. We've never met, but we have mutual friends that speak highly of you. I know we'd get along in person. I can tell you're just a good guy who is trying to show cards and make friends, nothing else! Epic rant! My favorite ebegging scam is the "wish list" some channels have. I have sent care packages to several of my favorite vintage channels of duplicate items I thought they might enjoy. I appreciate their effort. All that mentioned or showed the items were kind enough to ask first and only used my first name, as requested. Sad that you had experiences like that, but not surprised. New sub. ✌️

I have been looking for a Bobby Orr in that same condition, but I just can't afford one at this time. Something like that that sure would look good in my PC. I am over the e-begging crap as well. Take yesterday for example, I had a pop-up ad that stated "for .50 cents a day you can feed a kid in North Korea.". I have seen these same d*mn pop-ups since I was a kid. If those damn kids are still hungry after all these years I don't know what it will take to fill'em up. I'm out!!!

Congrats on five years on the Tube, Michael. Most people would let the success of a video such as "Earl Campbell Player Run" go to their head, they become "too big" for us little folks. Not you, though. You've continued to put out a Hall of Fame-worthy video library, you'd certainly have my vote. This hasn't been without trial and tribulation. I'm still waiting for you to pull that Makar Young Guns and finish the story. Perhaps one day, the dream will be fulfilled. In the mean time, I look forward to the private video for fellow Patreon members like myself this month.

I once had a kid from North Jersey comment on one of my videos demanding I make a trade with him, when I said no, he said he was going to drive down the turnpike and "smack the spit outta my mouth". All these years later I still laugh when I think about that, honestly it use to be a bigger problem. Especially with people demanding hookups/just because packages.
I am also a big fan of the Earl Campbell player run video. If there is a more comprehensive collection than what you showed in that video i have yet to see it. Any trades on that beat to hell Bobby Orr? I have an 87 Topps Mike Greenwell that i used as a kid to make my bicycle sound like a 67 corvette that you might be able to pry away from me 😆

Very early in my TH-cam days, I bought some cards at my LCS. A TH-camr says to me how man can we do a trade for some of those cards? Sure I say, I sent some vintage commons. Dude says thank you for the cards, and I'll send you something back today. Today never came, always an excuse.
lol….I still get emails from people who a subscribers or have channels that I’ve never heard of, but they will send me a list of their PC’s or players they like🤦🏻♂️it just comes w/ the territory…I just ignore and delete🤷🏽♂️

@Canadian_Cards we set the tone early. I try to have 5 or 6 parents involved in every practice or game. I also tolerate 0 negativity. I try to keep them all engaged for every minute. These little guys have about a 30 second attention span LOL! Coaching is my absolute favorite thing in the whole world, if I was rich I would just coach every day!
