Faron Young was one of the all time greats. He was my favorite male singer and Jean Shepard was my favorite female singer. She was one of the all time greats. I love listening to the country singers back in the 50’s, 60’s and long as they were able to perform. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
While I have quite a few older country artists I enjoy listening to, when hit with the blues, listening to Faron Young is where I take shelter most often. Remembering something George Jones said on a talk show, that Ray Price, and Faron were among those that travelled with him on tours...all doing sets. That would have been the pinnacle of my time in Country life. Imagine listening to George do a set, then Ray, followed by Faron. As good as it could ever be!
Wish he was here to sing us new songs but love these old ones all my life he's been my favorite singer and always will be no one can compare that voice is impeccable
