My 20 year old cat was euthanized today at home, this was his soundtrack. I hope he dreamed of chasing birds and climbing trees. Even before he passed I could tell he was really enjoying these sounds.

I love this! My parrots all went nuts when this first started playing even though they were all born here and have never seen a jungle (besides the inside of my place haha), so awesome! Thank you!

If you are referring to the parrots and never seeing the jungle I do agree actually...this is why I work for a parrot rescue (not buying birds!) and have foster birds most of which are disabled or special needs. They will never see a jungle and that is sad but in order to stop this breeders need to stop breeding and people need to stop buying...until then I give mine the best home they can have and help where I can.
+Rayncatt agree all animal should not be breeding for pets. wild should be life alone. even cats an dogs. as loads are in the RSPCA. or breed for money. its sick

This has become one of my all time favorite recordings. I love to imagine for this hour that I am meeting up with The Poacher Poachers, a band of jungle rebels that tracks down the mean animal poachers and, well...I never get that far into the "justice" part of it, because tonight we're just setting up base camp and eating dinner and someone is playing a recorder, and we're talking about where the poachers are supposed to be tomorrow and how we're going to cut them off at the pass...
I am part frog and this feels just like home. Well done!

I was living in native communities of the Amazon for four years, studying their habits and gave me a lot of nostalgia to leave that habitat .... these wonderful sounds describe the heart of the Amazon, for the mere fact takes us close our eyes to this mysterious and enigmatic world ... thanks for uploading these sounds.

I slept in the Amazon rainforest and the only things you hear are bugs and frogs. Maybe an occasional bird in the morning but rarely any mammals

I like how everyone is so in lock step with this idea that we are animals. its what I would call an oversimplification as well as neglect of the uniqueness of man(i.e. consciousness which many have spoken of as mans excommunication from nature, from instinct)

Sorry for your cat. Downside of owning a pet, We had a corgi, lost him about 8 years ago but the whole family still miss him.

I need to sleep. this is so peaceful.
I loved this immediately. I am hoping to go to sleep now. i was listening to KLOVE radio and that is so beautiful but so upbeat that i can't really go to sleep with it, almost but not quite. From the very first moment I have enjoyed this but...i will try to stay awake long enough to hear the weird sound that someone commented on. i could live without the high pitched noise that sounds like a smoke alarm but here goes i will try it for longer.
back in the real world there must be road construction or some large machine out there working without hearing some relaxing sounds i would be listening to that and it made my ears ring.Okay.Goodnight from the San Francisco Bay Area! Sweet Dreams of Peace
