Bird and Blend teas are fantastic! They're a little pricy but their Dozy Girl and Pumpkin Spice Chai teas are some of my favourites! They also have a cookie dough tea that is incredible
You mentioning deckled edges reminded me of a time when I was reading some reviews of a book on Amazon (I was actually looking at reviews to see if it was the edition with deckled edges) and there were actually so many people thinking the book was damaged or the pages were cut wrong etc and then complaining when their replacement copy was exactly the same

Sometimes adding a little sugar to black teas can bring out the flavour. Also, twinings Spicy Chai and Lady Grey are two of my favourites.
