This style came out of nowhere! I was so ready for a cinematic masterpiece, as we usually see and he done switched it up on us BIG time for something even better.
Check out Keili Mekken. A traditional Kazakh type song with a rock treatment. He raps a bit. Also, Golden . A song he would use as an Dimash’s rapping in Kazakh and his subsequent fight scene blow me away. It could have looked cheesy. But Dimash pulls it off with total conviction and authenticity. Since he’s studied Taekwando the moves are all his. Dimash is a sweetheart with a heart of gold, well mannered and endowed with the physical beauty and grace and humble kindness. But, he’s no girly boy. At 6’3” and athletic (swimming, soccer, martial arts) and loaded with integrity, love and loyalty....he stands his ground. Dimash is so versatile and capable...he can pretty much do whatever he chooses to do. But, that voice is his wheelhouse. No one can sing the way he does. I love it all.

Even though pop music is not one of my favorite genres there is no doubt that Dimash delivered another flawless performance. I actually enjoyed the song quite a bit. The choreography and video production were top-notch, as is the case for all of his music videos. This should catapult Dimash into the mainstream. This song will equally appeal to the younger generation as well as the generation that grew up with Michael Jackson in the 80s. Dimash is one of a kind. He raps in Kazakh (not Russian). Filmed in Kazakhstan near Almaty at the Royal Tulip hotel. Dimash studied Tae Kwon Do when he was young (red belt) but had to give it up to commit to music. He is also a friend and fan of Jackie Chan and sang the theme song for Jackie's movie Vanguard (on Dimash's Spotify....he has 2 channels). Part 2 is rumored to be in a mountain ski resort where he was recently seen.

Even now he enjoys visiting the pool at every convenient opportunity, believing that a professional vocalist must be a sporty and physically tough person.
This is an entirely new direction for Dimash. He wrote it and then some guys in the studio started collaborating for added effect--and this is what happened. He is so brilliant! Dimash can doANYTHING! Im so glad you like it!! I'm not sure I like the violence, in someone I've always thought so sweet-natured and gentle. But he did do this performance WELL.
