I got on the sleeper limited express Sunrise Seto.
Sunrise Seto is usually driven to Takamatsu,
The day I got on was the day of extended driving to Kotohira.
Sunrise Seto will be extended to Kotohira on Fridays and Saturdays from Tokyo.
The Sunrise Seto and Sunrise Izumo trains are 14-car trains and will be separated at Okayama Station.
The sleeper limited express Sunrise Seto is a sleeper limited express train that operates between Tokyo Station and Takamatsu Station via the Tokaido Main Line, Sanyo Main Line, Uno Line, Honshi Bisan Line (Seto Ohashi Line), and Yosan Line. (From Tadotsu to Kotohira, run on the Dosan Line)
It started operations on July 10, 1998, with an operating distance of 804.7 km (between Tokyo and Takamatsu).
It takes about 9.5 hours. (About 10.5 hours from Tokyo to Kotohira)
If you take the Sunrise Seto, you will cross the Seto Ohashi Bridge and leave Honshu and enter Shikoku.
After arriving at Kotohira station, I had a delicious Kagawa udon.
