That boat over boat hand was crazy. If he shoves all-in after your re-raise on the turn like most people would, you might fold and save most of your stack..

He just bet and got raised by a guy he beat for a big pot the hand before. Calling with the boat there isn't surprising at all. Someone who raises the turn like that is gonna fire another bet on the river 95% of the time. Rampage either has trips, a flush, a boat, or a bluff. He expects all those to bet the river again, and he's not worried about getting out drawn when he's sitting on a boat so planning a check raise on the river is the clear play.

I love your videos. I just found you on youtube like 2 weeks ago and I think I've watched over 100 episodes. I watch a lot of vloggers and I have to say I enjoy yours more than most of them. Your hand review in flow is great and quick, you don't tangent too much or lose your train of thought which is great for me (I've played for years and though I'm not a successful professional I've also never set aside a proper bank roll and tried to make a living from it without external financial stressors like bills etc. I still consider myself a very good player and I have years of experience and hands under my belt. seen every type of bad beat and every form of rungood). All this to just say I know all the emotions that are at the bedrock of being a poker player and your ability to capture that and keep it not boring is rare bro. After watching the different styles of probably 25-30 different poker vloggers, you and Neeme are the easist to sit back and binge. I'm a fan of Owen but sometimes I really just can't listen to him talk for more than 15 minutes which is probably in no way his fault so no offense to him. Anyway enough of my rambling, Love your vids, keep up the effort and I hope to run into you one day on the felt bro. Don't be mad if I own you though ;)

I recently had to force myself to take a break. I was running SO bad day after day after day flopping the nuts, then getting riveted, flopping sets of Aces, Kings, Queens then getting cracked by hands that literally called the flop with NOTHING….and hitting the nuts on me lol. When you run bad take a break
When you hit your set of 5s against the club flush, that’s an autocheck on the turn. Nothing good can come from betting that action card except in the rare instance when you’re up against 88.
When you have position and your opponents hand is weighted toward flush draws as it was in the set of 5 hands, you should always check and take the free card. I understand you like aggression, but the only thing you are doing by betting is finding out if he has the flush. Your bet on the turn only ensured you were going to lose the most money one way or another. You either make a huge over bet on the flop to deny equity or if you put out that bet on the flop you have to consider checking back the turn.
Not only that but other straight draws got there as well. 8-10.

I really like your content. And I can handle watching you take an L, but it's actually unpleasant to have the title imply a positive outcome. It may not be a big deal to you, but it's alienating. In the world of content creation, trust in your personality of choice is a real motivator.

By the way, you CAN lose every hand. Happened to me for the first time a few months back. 5 hours of play and didn't win a single hand.

Not to be a dick but you said a set of jacks when it was really a full house, Jacks full of 6's, would have been dope to see the river give you one of the 3 outs needed. That KQ hand is a pretty standard tournament call. Unless someone is playing like a maniac, the only reasonable 2 pair is K-9. So realistically, you're only losing to AA, AK and K9 and you're beating a mountain of possible bluffs he could have, including against worse kings.

The best 5 cards play. The only time a flush is a split is when all 5 flush cards are on the board, and nobody has one in their hand that is higher than the worst one on the board.

I guess you wouldn't have done anything different even if you already knew that was your last buy in. These tournament directors should have displayed that a lil better in my opinion. If you go through two bullets before you realize it's a two max buy in. Then I believe it wasn't very apparent. Either way I hope trip was a success and at least your girl was with to help with the wounds! Great stuff man.

Rampage is basically freerolling all his poker buyins cash and tournaments from all the stuff he sells and TH-cam revenue so if your looking to learn from his play take that into consideration I won't say anything negative but most of us don't have unlimited funds to play as he plays lol.
You obviously didn't see his year-end financial results video. He made approximately equal amounts at TH-cam and at poker, and each was very easily into six figures. Sure, it's nice having income from other stuff if you run bad at poker, but if he's freerolling off anything, it's off all his previous tourney and cash poker winnings. In my world, that's called a poker bankroll, not buying in off other income.

He really should be value betting there, given that the only hand he can ever lose to is AhKx and there's no way you check that hand over to him twice.
