How to get a Single Status Certificate? Explained in Hindi

Single Status Certificate is needed when an Indian citizen plans to marry abroad. It can be made by the person who intends to marry or by the parents of the person who are in India.Depending on the requirements of the country the Single Status Certificate can be made. In general the steps are
1. Get Single Status Certificate made on stamp paper (there is no fixed requirement for example on the value of the stamp paper), it could be Rs. 50.
2. Get the ceritificate notarized.
3. Get the certificate attested by SDM
4. Get the certificate apostilled my (Ministry of External Affairs) There are about 120 countries which accept apostille documents
5. Get the certificate attested by the Embassy (this is not a requirement in every country)

1. That I am an Indian citizen since my birth and presently residing in India. My date of birth is ……………. and Passport No……………….
2. I am single and unmarried till date. I have not married in India and abroad. There is no objection of whatever nature from anybody including my country viz. India in respect to my marriage to a non resident Indian viz foreigner in a foreign country.
3. All the statements made here in by me are absolute truth and I am not sought to be benefitted by any misrepresentation. I know that it is a criminal offence to make false affidavit.

please describe hot to attestation procedure and how to submit application to MEA.
We can do all this formality by our self or we need any lawyer for this like with stamp paper we can go by ourself to sdm and ministry???
