This is great! It looks really hard, but you explained it so well that it looks easier than I initially thought. Thank you Christine. You're so imaginative!
Well Christine, I spent the better part of the day making your placemat. I went a tad larger, I was as accurate as I could be the pieces went together very well till I opened and ironed the flaps down. The middle was tight and bunched, and some of the pedals overlapped just a tinge . As much as I enjoyed the process , I will move on . But thankyou for all your tutorials, I look forward to seeing what’s up your sleeve next. Greets from Canada and thankyou once again! Lou
Hi Christine Thankyou for an unexpected reply. I gave the placemat a good press the center is still a bit bunched, but I covered a button and more or less gave it a tight squish down when attaching. Looks passable, the pedals I sewed down every other one that was normal . The alternative ones which slightly over lapped in the widest part of the leaf I sewed them on top as is . I guess you could say a mistake that I worked around. I will do another because it will bother me till I get it correct. My nature I guess. But thankyou for the words of encouragement. You’re a busy lady and I appreciate the communications. Sincerely Lou
Great project! Funny thing, I was going to ask in the FB group about the name of a product and you just so happened to use it in this video. What is the chalk dispenser called? As I wrote this (dispenser) I figured it out lol. I'll need to put that on my list. Thanks for the video

I just noticed you are up over 98K now. So close to that goal of 100K. YOu are going to get there soon.
Yes, less than 1500 now Cynthia. My estimate is New Year🎉🎉
Great Christmas project and great save - like you though I prefer simple so without braid would be my choice, but it works well with.
Thanks Susan. Agreed. Simple is best😁
Great idea love it x
Thanks Sandy😁

I wonder what could have happened Louise. Can it be embellished with some beads or braid?

Great demo again, thank you for leaving your whoops moment in, I just thought it was me who made errors 😂
I think I must make mistakes in almost everything I do Elly😁
I could see using gold llame seam binding as it would have looked wonderful and covered both sides
The gold would have suited this much better Eva😁
