Why ,there’s no reason to lie at all he could just be honest like he could’ve said I was out of line and mentioning things I probably shouldn’t have. Maybe something is wrong with his systems because. He didn’t acting strange last episode and he ran when solar wanted to check his code.
I think Ruin just doesn't like others doing stuff to him cause of his backstory, and he is probably scared that they would kill him for the genocide he committed.

Ruin didn't lie from what I remember...moon did threaten ruin and ruin did say he had said stuff to moon he really shouldn't have. Now I can't fully remember if moon reached out towards him or not..imma go see.
Okay moon didn't really reach out but he got really really close to ruin. Was not much room at all from how close moon was to ruin. So yeah moon is kinda at fault for ruins fall.
