Nice video, thank you for posting. We kayaked to the jetty last year from Morse Park in Murrells Inlet. This year the tide and waves were too strong to make it to the beach, but we got close.
I love Huntington state park .... I think its one of the most relaxing places south carolina has to offer. I have camped there 100s of times and have never been disappointed. Thanks for the jetty video. Keep em coming !
Never been to the south but curious to know the difference between Huntington and Hunter Island state park. How far are they apart? The entire time I thought it's the same park.
My husband and dogs and I went by there this morning but, because we needed to head back to Spartanburg we chose to come back another time. Are dogs allowed out on it? I hope your wound is ok, sheesh!
Sorry about the cut, man. That's a great video, one thing I found interesting was it looks like you can't see any motels or such from there, kinda gives a taste as to what it may have looked like before it was developed
I built the south Jetty I ran the crane that placed all the rocks. WF Magann Corp Was the contractor

Thank you! I will have to visit there when we come!
You should!
Good video 😀 Watch out for sharp rocks !!!
Yep! Learned the hard way.
Wow. Been going to PI all my life. Never knew this jetty existed. Many thanks for the info!
Love that area. Thanks for the video
You are welcome!
Great video thank you 👍
Thank you, Stephen!
Beautiful area! I love that place. I’ve never been there before. I might have to go there next time. Well, thanks for sharing! Have a great day!
Did you see the seashell trees on the way up
Yes. It’s cute but my issue is that to do that someone had to climb on the dunes which is a no no and not good. I took some pics.
I've gotta check this out some time! I had no idea this was here!
I’ve walked on a jetty before, It’s a nice experience.
The one I walked on was a lot more beat up than this one though.
What a beautiful spot! Hope your cut heals quickly! 🤞
I hope so too!
Great job on the video. What a neat place to take in nature and get away from the daily stress.
Thanks! I agree.
Could that jetty fit a wheelchair? I’m guessing not a chance haha
That is some cut you got there! 😳 Besides that, awesome video and awesome views on the jetty!
It’s a bunch of small tiny cuts, still healing 😬
Sorry about the jetty rash! Looking toward the Marshwalk, on the left side of that jetty is the real Drunken Jack Island.
Yep! I plan to do a video on that eventually.

Yes! I love how natural it still is, no condos or hotels or swimming pools or parking lots.
hi do you know if this was high or low tide when video was shot?
Sorry, I think it was high or closer to high but I’m not 💯
Beautiful! Is the jetty north or south of the public access?
Is there any other way to get there, shorter distance?
You can get there by boat, that is the only other way.
And here does the tide come up over it like at Kure Beach jetty
No, I don’t think so.
yes the high tide affect the jetty too. Plus the jetts get damage by Hurricanes.
