How old are your turkeys ? They need higher protein feed than chick starter. We used Purina Game Bird starter @ 30%. Ours are I think white broad breasted as well - about 10 weeks old. I'm guessing 12 to 15 pounds - have never tried to weigh them. This our first batch so not sure what to expect either.
We just slaughtered them today at 26 weeks. They weren't growing because they are some kind of heritage breed. The rest of our broad breasted turkeys mad weight at 20 weeks. Our biggest was 27 pounds and 6 ounces and we fed all of them the same. In the past we used New country organics turkey feed. This year we used organic broiler and laying feed and the broad breasted did just fine. We were told that these three were broad-breasted when we purchased them, and they obviously were not.
