I think the 30-40 minute format seems to work well. It gives people time to talk but cuts down the waffle factor. Having seen your first few vids it's really impressive how quickly you guys are improving as presenters and also the chemistry with each other is coming together. I just watched this and the Marvel movies instalment and really enjoyed them. Congrats.
+Paradox Acres Sucking is quite subjective. A lot of people actually enjoyed that film. It doesn't take anything away from you when people are entertained.
+cqtaylor I'm just saying that DC fanboys really need to stop being so insecure about the films. When critics say a movie sucks they're not saying it's wrong for people to like it. All of us have at least one bad film that they really love.
+Paradox Acres You missed what cqtaylor said. Nobody can say that an entire movies sucks. Its entirely opinionated. Alot of people loved the move. So its not DC Fanboys being insecure. And people are automatically a "Fanboy" for defending a movie? Maybe you should rethink your statement guy.
Since we're not talking "best" DC movie, but "favorite", it's "Superman Returns" for me. I was eight years-old when I first saw “Superman: The Movie” and my son was eight years-old when I took him to see “Superman Returns”. I was thrilled to share Superman, a character that has meant so much to me, with him. Not a “reimagining” or an “interpretation” but - essentially - the _same_ Superman that had first made such an impact on me. By purposefully following in the footsteps of Richard Donner (and ignoring the execrable third and fourth films), Bryan Singer may have alienated a generation looking for a "new" Superman, but I’ll always be thankful to him for allowing me to share a new adventure of _my_ Superman with my son.
+Jim Davis I too liked Superman Returns. Brandon Ralph did a continuation of the Christopher Reeve's Superman in modern day. Ralph was like a clone of Reeve.
I like the longer format. It's podcaste-y, and when the subject is interesting (like today's episode), I just feel like listening to your guys' opinions all day... It's really fun.
love the show! 30-45 is good because it allows for full discussion and feels like an episode. When you're not talking about current movies, I'd love to hear your thoughts on past movies, especially bad, and talking about what could have made it better or worse. also talking about some actual comics could be good lol
if u ask me u guys should have little segments like "rare comic of the day" where u find super rare obscure comics, or u can have quiz questions to guests seeing just how much they know,or just give news and updates on hero movies, new comics and shows
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...Nerdgasm! That shop at 21:04 is the place I got my first comic book. I saw the guard rail out front and lost my fucking shit!
6:55 - I have that exact, same "Batman (1989)" comic in my collection, along with the "Batman Returns" comic! "Batman '89" is also my all-time favorite comic book movie ("The Dark Knight" being a close 2nd)!
4:28 The comparison made by Joker in The Dark Knight is not "what a leashed dog would do if it were let off its chain", it's "what a dog would do if it caught the car it was chasing"... :P
I would like to see hour long episodes, but going over TV Shows, Movies, monthly Comic reviews, as well as going over old school comics, old movie and TV show reviews, and going over comic characters history and origins.
Enjoying the show after the first 3 episodes. Great job varying the content and giving an equal spread to DC and Marvel. I'd like to see you guys discuss your thoughts on your favorite comic names and/runs from the most recent reboots (New 52 and ANAD Marvel)
1. Batman V Superman (for now) 2. Batman Forever cause Riddler is my favorite batman villian 3. Dark Knight 4. Dark Knight Returns 5. Watchmen 6. Batman and Robin don't hate, everyone just chill x) 7. Man of Steel 8. Batman Returns 9. Batman Begins and 10. RED
22:40 Wolverine IS A FEMALE! Seriously, Laura Kinney is amazing as wolverine! Also, my vote would be for more comic related talks. loving the show either way though.
Yeah you can read about it on batmannews.com or on Twitter with the same thing it but in short Warner Brothers Love Suicide Squad so they gave the director more money to do extra stuff he wanted but you can read about it
11:15 "Thank you Batman '89 for giving us "Batman: The Animated ADVENTURES". *eye twitch* It's an honest mistake considering the later seasons were called "The New Batman Adventures". I'm not trying to be a troll. It's just that I take the DCAU very seriously b/c it was my intro into the DC universe and I'm a dork.......oh my God. It just hit me. You guys should do a whole episode dedicated to the DCAU from the 90's/ early 2000's. I can't think of a single DC fan that wouldn't enjoy that.
I personally would like to see you guys do a retrospective on the straight-to-DVD DC and Marvel animated movies. Also, my favorite DC live action movie is The Dark Knight, and to this day I still have let to see a superhero movie that is as good as that movie.
I wouldn't mind it if you guys talked about things like your favorite comic book story arcs or events from Marvel and DC. Half hour to 45 minute episodes are pretty good for me.
to be honest, all of the live action DC movies leave something to be desired. The animated films on the other hand? Under the Red Hood, Superman VS the Elite, Green Lantern First Flight, Mask of the Phantasm, The Joker Returns... I could go on but seriously DC's strength when it comes to film is in their animation department.
+Garrett Knisley I agree so much with this comment. Haha. The DC animated stuff is my favorite so we will be talking about it sooner rather than later.
I love the Dark Knight, I really do.... but I'm so done with it. I watched it a billion times in 2008. I praised it to no end, it got me into actual comics and the DC Universe, and I hope and pray more kids understand how great it is when they're older, but I'm so tired of hearing how great it is unanimously, which is why I LOVE this episode! This panel gave a conversation that was not just a Dark Knight praise fest, and I am in love with that. Hope this show keeps going places!
I am a Puppy Yeah. I just really don't think the old Superman movies hold up well. The visual effects have become dated, the writing is awkward, & to be honest... Christopher Reeve was kinda bland as Superman. In fact, one thing I did like in Superman 3 was Superman's darker costume. I like color as much as the next guy, but the bright & colorful costume just made it look too silly that even the dramatic scenes were ruined by the costume alone. With Evil Superman's costume, I could actually take it seriously.
I would love to see maybe a 45 minute to an hour format each week, something akin to shows like sidescrollers, which is supposed to be a video game podcast that tends to go off the rails quite hard lol.. as for favorite dc live action, I've gotta go with Barman Returns despite its flaws. I like the new catwoman and penguin origins, walken will always be the man, and more Michael keaton is always nice to see beneath the cowl. not to mention its easily the most quotable. "eat floor. high fiber."
+Gianni Carrea I loved Watchmen when I first watched it. Then I read the graphic novel and realized how inferior the movie is. Now I can't even watch the movie, I just read the comic again instead.
I would like to see more movie reviews as well as TV series like Daredevil, agents of shield, Jessica Jones, etc, even stuff like disney movie reviews! and I think 30 minutes is enough, an hour just seems to much time for rambling . Thank you!
Well. That Archer and Armstrong cutout in the window of Graham Cracker beautifully sets up what I'd like you to talk about. Valiant! Like maybe an analysis of how the new stuff stacks up to the 90s. I'm a huge fan of the new run to the point where I actually want to read every single comic they release. Now of course this is only if anyone there is familiar with the company. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only fan >////>
Here's what I think you guys could do: You don't have to dedicate every episode to comic book news and movies, I'd love to see you guys review a comic book series or volume, old or new, every once in a while, that would be sweet!
I am one of the few who hates that movie the only things I liked from it was the Actor for Sinestro and the VFX Fighting scenes. Everything else not so much. But my only biggest complaint was the utter laziness of the GL suits they looked terrible in CGI. The music was also Good.
Stuff I would like: I am a nerd, but not a comic nerd and as such I am sometimes left wanting more than what the film format has time to get into. As such in depth explanations and covering of Comic Lore would be nice for me.
My favorite Live Action DC movie is Batman. Great casting, beautiful set designs. Though I prefer the animated movies in which I must choose between Under the Red Hood, Return of the Joker, Mask of the Phantasm, and Justice League vs Teen Titans.
+Djinsin My favorite live action DC film is Batman Begins, but I think if we were going by any and all DC feature-length movies, I would pick Assault on Arkham.
Do SUPER BATTLES, choose two of any character (hero or villain) from comics, movies, TV, books, ANYTHING. The characters have to be in their middle zone, so not just beginning and not overly crazy powerful, in order them to stand a fight.
While I don't mind you guys talking about movies and TV shows, I hope you guys can focus more on comic books. Like, maybe you guys can have discussions on some of the more well known comic stories or maybe on lesser known stories that you feel need more attention. Perhaps you could bring up non-superhero comic books and shed some light in that area. As for the length, 30 minutes seems to be the right amount, and you can save the hour+ discussions for special occasions. I'll definitely continue watching and I hope to see more from you guys.
an hour long episode would be great. as for what to talk about, anything related to comics, movies animated and live action, tv shows. basically your format right now. maybe some bit of news for upcoming things from marvel or dc or anyone you deem important.
I think you should cover more comic books. not necessarily news. just recommendations, what makes a good comic book, etc. for example: favorite comic book not related to the marvel or dc comic universe (mine is watchmen) where should you start reading spider-man? (right after "one more day" in my opinion) maybe near the release of "rogue one" you could cover the star wars canon comics published by marvel? I've read some and really liked them. that's just a few off the top of my head. looking forward to whatever is coming next :)
Since this is a weekly series you should do 4 episodes with different topics each month. For example Week 1: Animated News Week 2: Actual Comics News Week 3: Comic Movies News Week 4: Random Comic Geeking.
I enjoyed the show and look forward to seeing more. I wonder, would it make more sense to forget all this recent "Man of Steel" stuff and for Hollywood and DC to take Superman back to his old-timey comic book roots? I don't mean trying to recreate the first two Christopher Reeve movies or anything like that, but to forget contemporizing this character altogether. If special effects are no obstacle anymore, then why not take Superman back to the 1930s? To the world that created him and that he was created for. That doesn't mean he is no longer relevant to us now, but that maybe he does need to exist in that pre McCarthy America in order to be that kind of ultimate comic book superhero, unrestricted by our cynicism yet still confounded by injustice. In their monumental attempt to make a great character relevant, perhaps Hollywood is missing the most effective and if handled well, very entertaining path to that goal. I would think that from an artistic and just generally creative stand point, this would strike many people involved as a very exciting notion. Just a thought.
+TheColonelKlink I was just having this conversation with a friend. The Superman character can adapt to any period if done right, but I'd LOVE to see a late 30's-50's movie adaptation of him released nowadays. It could be great.
Awesome_Walter Ya, in a way Superman needs to be the only game in town. And that is how he came into the world. Everything else came later and over a considerable amount of time. If we let him return to June of 1938 then this character can be what he was created to be and there is room to let that happen, as well as to let him grow and a greater DC universe and all the League of Justice stuff to unfold in a more paced manner. It would take great dedication and imagination to make this happen. Which brings us back to the hacks running Hollywood these days, and so regrettably this is likely the kind of idea that would be sent straight to the producers' paper shredder.
+TheColonelKlink Maybe an animated movie can be made out of the retro Superman idea one day. They were in the 50's I think in Justice League New Frontier, but just a Superman solo animated movie might be a more doable avenue to see this done. One of, if not, my favorite interpretations is still the Fleischer Superman cartoon shorts from the late 30's/early 40's. Something like that would be great.
Awesome_Walter Those Fleischer cartoons are pretty fantastic. I also think they help illustrate the point too. This is a superhero that exists in a world where he is the only one. This changes the nature of the story telling. Superman is supposed to represent something beyond his amazing alien abilities, and I think this critical aspect of what this character is supposed to be has been all but completely lost in current motion picture depictions.
I'm cool with up to about 40 minutes. >_> Walter, all I can say about the playing of the Superman theme, and ALL of your points about the Reeve Superman is UNF! Every point I make about what Superman's SUPPOSED to be! Yes!
First that comes to mind, Batman Returns would be my favorite. There are many flaws in the Tim Burton vision, but Keaton brings a balanced dorky/campy and yet dark and brooding in a way that is the live action Batman to me. Pfeiffer, DeVito, Walken, all give good performances in what seem genuinely well cast roles even if all the characters aren't 100% true to comic form. I personally enjoy the darker Gotham of Burton to the brighter tone of Schumacher, and possibly more than the realistic Gotham of Nolan. The plot though a little loopy in the final act is easy to follow vs the Nolan films which can be a little more complicated. Compared to all of the Superman films, the Schumachers...Green lantern, the only real competition is the Nolans and it's predecessor. I think a 20-30 minute runtime is ideal, but I would definitely let the content decide and split into parts if need be :). A much closer competition would be animated features! With Phantasm, Sub Zero, Batman Beyond the movie, solid Green Lantern movies, Flashpoint Paradox and especially all the JLU movies that past few years!
Superman: The Movie (1978) for me as well. From a filmmaking perspective, it's the most beautiful superhero film of all time. The cinematography, score, production design and screenplay are works of pop art, and Christopher Reeve delivers the best superhero performance of all-time (Tom Hiddleston himself called it a "masterclass"). The only strike against it is the cop-out time travel ending, but did I mention this film has Marlon fucking Brando in it?! It's epic, it's intimate. It's poetic, it's campy. It's tragic, it's funny. It's for kids, it's for adults. In short, it's everything a superhero movie should be.
I would personally love to see coverage over obscure heros, or perhaps some comparisons of the hero's different generations. Go through their different costumes, critique and praise (Or in the case of Rob Liefeld, pan). Cover the art of some of the animated series, the art of the comic books, the different styles when transitioning from paper to television. Quite a lot you can do with that. As for length, I'm personally comfortable with fifteen to thirty minute videos.
For me it's a tie between Superman (1978) and Batman (1989). From beginning to end those movies are captivating. As for not rushing to judgement on casting an actor, the same thing happened with Michael Keaton when he was cast as Batman. People wanted a big name, and Mr. Mom was still in their minds. Of course, Keaton knocked it out of the park as Batman.
I might be starting a war, but Nicholson's Joker is the definitive live-action Joker. It was hilarious, kooky, and by far the most terrifying villain I've ever seen in any movie.
I would like the show to be in segments...maybe like a segment for Comic shows/Movies...a segment for Publish comics...maybe a segment for reading recommendations(both Mainstream and Indie)... and yadda yadda yadda....something like that...just post time stamps for the different topics...and make it maybe a half an hour show...well those were my suggestions
You gotta cover the whole; Who Would Win In A Fight Between... Also should pitch your own perfect cbm for "insert character here". And should steal NC's Top 11.
I'm literally fine watching any length of discussion from you guys. An hour, two hours, whatever man, I can dig it. Also, if anyone doubts that an idealistic, happy Superman can be done well in a modern setting, they just need to watch Supergirl.
1. Dark Knight 2. Batman Begins 3. Batman (1989) 4. Dark Knight Returns 5. Superman 6. Man of Steel 7. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 8. Superman II 9. Superman Returns 10. Green Lantern 11. Batman (1966) 12. Batman Returns 13. V for Vendetta 14. Steel 15. Superman IV: Quest for Peace 16. Batman Forever 17. Catwoman 18. Batman and Robin 19. Superman III 20. Supergirl
comic book, television and movies as well as video games that pertain to comic book heroes. If your show is about comics then try to cover the bases. Love the show so far, keep up the good work.
V for Vendetta is also my favorite DC movie.
I'd be interested in seeing you guys cover DC's animated movies.
+electricmastro We'll be doing that soon! Love the animated stuff.
Thanks for the reply. :)
Congrats.
Watchmen is my number one, easy!
Have you read the book before?
Zack Snyder's _Watchmen_ film is a freakin' *masterpiece*.
+Michael Patton I only read it afterwards and I love both of em!
+Shriranga Wirth Coolio!
Cesar Romero is an AMAZING JOKER :)!!!
Favourite live action DC film? 1989 Batman. By far. I can watch that several times over and enjoy it just as much as I did years ago.
It's kinda sad watching people act so *defensive* over DC movies just because _Batman v Superman_ sucks.
They're just movies, guys.
Lol
Well the dark knight trilogy was the best superhero trilogy to date... (TO DATE- before civil war lol)
+Paradox Acres Sucking is quite subjective. A lot of people actually enjoyed that film. It doesn't take anything away from you when people are entertained.

+Matheus Moura Thanks man!
Batman 1989 is my favorite along with Superman The Movie
11:20 That was a pretty cool way to introduce your favorite.
+Michael Patton I knew that thing would come in handy some day. Haha!
love the show! 30-45 is good because it allows for full discussion and feels like an episode.
When you're not talking about current movies, I'd love to hear your thoughts on past movies, especially bad, and talking about what could have made it better or worse. also talking about some actual comics could be good lol
+Swordfish Trying to fit the comic stuff in with the picks of the week, but with longer episodes we can do more. Thanks for the input!
Classy clarinet playing. lol
+Roni C Oh yes! Thank you!
if u ask me u guys should have little segments like "rare comic of the day" where u find super rare obscure comics, or u can have quiz questions to guests seeing just how much they know,or just give news and updates on hero movies, new comics and shows
I agree
+Paul Rodriguez Thanks for the input!
Awesome_Walter Anytime I rly want to see u guys grow I can see this being BIG!!!
We appreciate it!
Awesome!

+Filip Mrcela Animated stuff's coming! Can't wait to talk about it!
I would like to see hour long episodes, but going over TV Shows, Movies, monthly Comic reviews, as well as going over old school comics, old movie and TV show reviews, and going over comic characters history and origins.
+Wesley Wiggins If we get enough response for longer episodes, we can cover more stuff. Thanks for the input!
You're welcome.
Batman Begins will always be the best DC movie. The movie is superhero perfection not a damn thing wrong with it.
Same!
Katie Holmes
+GameBoy Punk Love Batman Begins.
I disagree, the film has spots that could've been improved or removed.
+Rob Walden I actually like her in BB but saw her in Ray Donavon S4 and she was shit.
22:43 Wolverine is a female in the current comics, though. Yeah, it's X-23, but she is using the Wolverine name.
Enjoying the show after the first 3 episodes. Great job varying the content and giving an equal spread to DC and Marvel.
I'd like to see you guys discuss your thoughts on your favorite comic names and/runs from the most recent reboots (New 52 and ANAD Marvel)
30min-ish episode on subject like today's one is really good !
+William It would be great if they could do interviews with comic book writers and artists.
Best Batman was Adam West.
Preach.
1966 Batman movie as best DC movie.
+RikoZerame Kevin Conroy is not live action. I agree. Adam West played his role the best.
Nah
He's good. Also Conroy was and the best. Along with Affleck. Also Mark Hamill is the best motherfucking Joker
1. Batman V Superman (for now)
2. Batman Forever cause Riddler is my favorite batman villian
3. Dark Knight
4. Dark Knight Returns
5. Watchmen
6. Batman and Robin don't hate, everyone just chill x)
7. Man of Steel
8. Batman Returns
9. Batman Begins
and 10. RED
It would be cool to discuss actual comics and comic news as well. Discussions like "best series run" "favorite graphic novel" "Best of DC/Marvel" etc
I with they covered the DC Animated movies. Their Animated stuff knocks it right out of the park.
Road to Perdition and History of Violence are my favorites.
+Etarn Tiron Just recently watched those. Road to Perdition is really good stuff. I thought I'd like HoV more, but I thought it was just pretty good.
I love this!
V for Vendetta is not only my favorite DC comic book movie but it's my favorite movie
22:40 Wolverine IS A FEMALE! Seriously, Laura Kinney is amazing as wolverine! Also, my vote would be for more comic related talks. loving the show either way though.
Mine is Batman Begins
and V for Vendetta
That's also my favorite from the Nolan trilogy
24:26 didn't they confirm that the reshoot was for more action scenes and not for more comedy?
Yeah you can read about it on batmannews.com or on Twitter with the same thing it but in short Warner Brothers Love Suicide Squad so they gave the director more money to do extra stuff he wanted but you can read about it
11:15 "Thank you Batman '89 for giving us "Batman: The Animated ADVENTURES".

I would love to see you guys do an in depth talk about one of my favorite comic book series. Crossed
I personally would like to see you guys do a retrospective on the straight-to-DVD DC and Marvel animated movies. Also, my favorite DC live action movie is The Dark Knight, and to this day I still have let to see a superhero movie that is as good as that movie.
Just the DC ones. The marvel ones don't have much to offer.
+Jkop I know, but I still would like to hear their opinions on them (even though I actually liked the Doctor Strange one).
+Annoyed Michael We will eventually be doing DC animated movies/series. My favorite stuff to talk about.
I wouldn't mind it if you guys talked about things like your favorite comic book story arcs or events from Marvel and DC. Half hour to 45 minute episodes are pretty good for me.
Steel didn't make the list?!?!
Haha... ~_~
and NO GREEN LANTERN WHAT
+Cosmas Dexie All Superherosuits should be 100% CGI
+r3v4n21 And green! xD
+Zyx Whitewind Supergirl! Helen Slater version.

+Louis Wilkerson Overhype can hurt bad. I feel ya.
At 0:23, i own that poster to the left.
+Han Solo why did you give a time, it's there for most of the video...
MrHarvey 1206 I don't know......
If I don't count Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy (too easy), I'd say Man of Steel is my favorite DC movie. Come at me.
I feel the same.
I guess people are too blinded by nostalgia goggles :\
I am a Puppy Yeah. I just really don't think the old Superman movies hold up well. The visual effects have become dated, the writing is awkward, & to be honest... Batman* stupid tablet is stupid.
No discussion needed here; watchmen, that's it...
+Gianni Carrea
I loved Watchmen when I first watched it. Then I read the graphic novel and realized how inferior the movie is. Now I can't even watch the movie, I just read the comic again instead.
The 3h+ cut version wasn't that bad :v. (but yeah, I prefer the graphic novel as well)
For me, it's Superman 2. I like the cheesy fun, the camp, the playfulness. And of course for KNEEL BEFORE ZOD! Terrance Stamp was almost hypnotizing.
Get comfier chairs for your guests!
My favorite is Superman (1978).
I would like to see more movie reviews as well as TV series like Daredevil, agents of shield, Jessica Jones, etc, even stuff like disney movie reviews! and I think 30 minutes is enough, an hour just seems to much time for rambling . Thank you!

How is this even a question? The dark knight exists!
Here's what I think you guys could do:
You don't have to dedicate every episode to comic book news and movies, I'd love to see you guys review a comic book series or volume, old or new, every once in a while, that would be sweet!
+Ruko Michiharu Thanks for the input! We're listening!
My favorite DC and I know I'm in the minority but green lantern because it was a fun superhero movie. And superman the movie
Green Lantern was okay, the villain was weak, though. Sinestro should have been Yellow earlier.
+soundwave803 Yay I'll give you that but at least Ryan Renolds was great and the effects are okay
I am one of the few who hates that movie the only things I liked from it was the Actor for Sinestro and the VFX Fighting scenes. Everything else not so much. But my only biggest complaint was the utter laziness of the GL suits they looked terrible in CGI. The music was also Good.
I love you Beth, V For Vendetta was my pick, not just my favourite DC movie but one of my top 20 all time favourite films
Stuff I would like: I am a nerd, but not a comic nerd and as such I am sometimes left wanting more than what the film format has time to get into. As such in depth explanations and covering of Comic Lore would be nice for me.
Check out Collider Heroes. A very similar show that could serve as a good model for this show from which to emulate or differentiate.
+LiamRegent I'd love to do something like that! Stay tuned!
DC should put all of their Small screen writers on the Big Screen projects.
you guys should do favorite live action marvel movie
+Jon Booker Next week!
Mine is a tie between Batman (1989) and the Dark Knight
Mine is either The Dark Knight or Batman Returns. I thonk they are both great movies with their own strengths and weaknesses
I think you should cover more comic books. not necessarily news. just recommendations, what makes a good comic book, etc.
for example:
favorite comic book not related to the marvel or dc comic universe (mine is watchmen)
where should you start reading spider-man? (right after "one more day" in my opinion)
maybe near the release of "rogue one" you could cover the star wars canon comics published by marvel? I've read some and really liked them.
that's just a few off the top of my head. looking forward to whatever is coming next :)
Since this is a weekly series you should do 4 episodes with different topics each month.
For example
Week 1: Animated News
Week 2: Actual Comics News
Week 3: Comic Movies News
Week 4: Random Comic Geeking.
+Total Justice Gaming movies you didn't know were graphic novels.
Walter, all I can say about the playing of the Superman theme, and ALL of your points about the Reeve Superman is UNF!
Try Talking about Both Marvel & DC Comics Trailers time through time even reviewing the movie when it comes out similar like this
Batman 89
You guys should discuss the IDW Ninja Turtles comics. They're freaking awesome!
An favorite dc movie is the dark night
I would personally love to see coverage over obscure heros, or perhaps some comparisons of the hero's different generations. Go through their different costumes, critique and praise (Or in the case of Rob Liefeld, pan). Cover the art of some of the animated series, the art of the comic books, the different styles when transitioning from paper to television. Quite a lot you can do with that.
As for length, I'm personally comfortable with fifteen to thirty minute videos.
my favourite live action DC movie is The Dark knight
since this has been discussed you guys should do Favorite Animated DC Movie
For me it's a tie between Superman (1978) and Batman (1989). From beginning to end those movies are captivating. As for not rushing to judgement on casting an actor, the same thing happened with Michael Keaton when he was cast as Batman. People wanted a big name, and Mr. Mom was still in their minds. Of course, Keaton knocked it out of the park as Batman.
My #1 favorite.....
is Watchmen.
I might be starting a war, but Nicholson's Joker is the definitive live-action Joker. It was hilarious, kooky, and by far the most terrifying villain I've ever seen in any movie.
I like these longer shows
My Favorite Live Action DC Movie is definitely Superman The Movie 1978.
+Kevin Duayan Great ideas!
You could do an episode about the straight to DVD animated films of DC.
Batman returns, it was the superheroe movie with more balls on being gritty and bizarre.
I want to see you guys talk about comics.
I'd watch an hour long show certainly. 45 minutes might even a sweet spot. Worth experimenting with probably!
You gotta cover the whole; Who Would Win In A Fight Between...
Also should pitch your own perfect cbm for "insert character here".
And should steal NC's Top 11.
+CommanderOfTheSun Good ideas! How about top 12's? Two steps beyond?
30-40 min episodes sweet spot for me.
I'm literally fine watching any length of discussion from you guys. An hour, two hours, whatever man, I can dig it.
Also, if anyone doubts that an idealistic, happy Superman can be done well in a modern setting, they just need to watch Supergirl.

comic book, television and movies as well as video games that pertain to comic book heroes. If your show is about comics then try to cover the bases. Love the show so far, keep up the good work.
do a favorite super costum designs/redesigns or a character personality design/redesign and favorite issue of the week
I miss this show
V for Vendetta the movie is also about fascism
Is that your fav? I never seen it but noticed it's on Netflix and am about to watch it.
