F900GS - 219kg - 105ch - Is BMW starting to wake up? We just need to include the 20 liters of fuel in the 219 kilograms. 14.5 liters is a joke. @@motolover5697 just made a road-trip for 10 days in the wild 😅 even with a 20l tank I had a aux tank with 5l. And even like this I was on the edge. When you do a road-trip is very different.
I wish BMW offered a G310GS Adventure version with a 5 gallon fuel tank, tubeless spoke wheels, an aluminum bash plate, engine protection bars, larger and more aggressive pegs, and fully adjustable suspension front and rear. Those upgrades would cost BMW less than $400 and I'd pay $2000 more for that bike. Bike manufacturers, not just BMW, look at their small ADV bikes as beginner bikes. They use them to get new customers on the upgrade path to their mid size and full size ADV bikes. Older riders typically have more discretionary income and are buying smaller bikes because they have trouble handling and lifting larger bikes, but I'd argue that a small ADV bike like the G310GS is better off road for all riders. Unfortunately, the marketing department doesn't want to admit this, so they won't sell full featured lightweight ADV bikes because most people wouldn't buy their more expensive larger bikes. That's why smaller ADV bikes are built to a budget and are stripped of premium features. The companies would rather sell someone their first bike, that leads to their second and third. They aren't interested in selling old riders their last bike, so they miss the opportunity to make an R1300GS Adventure profit margin on a G310GS Adventure.

BMW Motorrad desperately needs to add a G310GS Adventure to their lineup. All I really need is a 5 gallon fuel tank because I can't upgrade that in the aftermarket and 2.9 gallons is way too small. The G310GS Adventure could also add common off road upgrades such as an aluminum bash plate, engine protection bars, larger foot pegs, etc. Keep the lightweight that is so important for off road use, particularly for older or smaller riders, but add the features customers want. A lithium battery and maybe a titanium exhaust could offset the added weight of the other upgrades.
Please make a supermoto version of the F 900 GS. Maybe bit more cc, slightly better crossplane thump and more power. 1 person race seat. Touring seat for 2 as optional. This bike would dominate the market.
can we please have a new m510gs adventure hp enduro rallye with 21inch front, 18 inch rear with aluminium-magnesium alloy frame, make sure it weights below 160kg wet please please please?

Not much love for the outgoing 750GS? Replacement is identical save for 10Hp more and the included equipment was already available as optional extras. If you spec the bike fully it’s actually marginally more expensive that the outgoing 750. It really needs the adjustable screen the 850 used to get as standard. At least it still comes with a proper rear light instead of the awful indicator/rear light combo on the 900 and the S1000XR.

Its great that all three have been updated together and there is some more power, not sure this is needed on the 750, good job BMW. Came across a 900XR rider a few weeks back who wanted a 900GS option you must have been listening in.
Nice! Thank you for showing the bikes and describing the specifications, unlike the typical 99% fact free BMW Motorrad marketing teaser that tries to sell a lifestyle. It looks like BMW Motorrad is finally admitting that lighter motorcycles are better for off road use. Good job on weight reduction although still pursuing ever more displacement and power (the 700 cc mid size adventure bike is now 900 cc and the 1100 cc full size ADV bike is now 1300 cc). I've been reading a lot of comments on the ADVrider forum and what customers *REALLY* want is a lightweight R450GS with a 450 cc boxer engine, essentially a modern lightweight version of the HP2 Enduro. Barring that, I'd like to see a lightweight 450 cc single cylinder GS. The G310GS would be a great platform for a lightweight 50 HP version. It could easily be as lightweight as the G310GS and I'd be willing to pay for the upgrades to save that weight. Barring that, a G310GS Adventure with a much larger fuel tank would be the simplest path to a properly equipped lightweight ADV bike. 11 liters (2.9 gallons) is a bad joke on an ADV bike, even if it gets mileage as good as the G310GS. Customers shouldn't be forced to buy hard panniers (the industry is rapidly moving away from those to save weight and improve safety) to get an Adventure version with a larger fuel tank. All adventure motorcycles should have at least a 300 mile usable range.
@@bmwmotorrad oh that F900GS definitely looks like the one for me. I live in Colorado, land of BDR trails and mountain roads. I could put that thing to use and we would have a great time I bet. 😂
Bought f850gs few days ago, after test ride. Dealer told me that f900gs is coming soon, but I got good price and prefer to get models at the end of production, don't like to be bmw test mule. Anyways, hope BMW made great bike again.
@bmwmotorrad, This F900 GS will sell like hot cakes! Love the look, but the fuel range might be an issue for many that would like to use this one for touring. A 2-3L extra fuel would be perfect and not add too much weight. The F900GSA is just too heavy and personally I'd rather go for the R1250GS - which is superior in every way to it.
Nice looking bikes but BMW Motorrad continues to ignore the market demand for a full featured and capable lightweight 450-500 cc GS in their continuous rush to make all their adventure bikes bigger. It seems that everyone I talk to wants a 450-500 cc GS and BMW refuses to meet that consumer demand. I believe it's because they don't want to cut into sales of their more expensive 900 and 1300 cc ADV bikes even though they're too much effort for most people to ride off road. Apparently BMW Motorrad fails to understand how many older riders are down sizing because they can no longer ride a 500+ pound bike. These retired BMW riders typically have a lot of money to spend so they wouldn't mind paying a lot more to get a lightweight bike that has the features they want.
Die BMW 900 Gs ist echt gut gelungen da passt alles endlich mal ein Design aus einen Guss und nicht zu zerklüftet. Wünschen würde ich mir davon eine Supermoto Version.

@@bmwmotorrad Thanks, but not helping. I meant the shop manuals available to the mechanics at the dealerships, in full details. The full service info and the equipment needed to service these complex bikes. You know, the Right to Repair thing is what I'm talking about.
Top notch.. love the new logo and new looks of the F900GSA.. seems stronger and tougher 💪 .. great engineering from BMW.. but the side box always came in square shape. Of course, it is for practically to have a higher storage capacity, but if it can be designed into more angular or curvy shape, I think it will have a nicer looks. 😉
But there are still 4 seat options on the BMW F 900 GS. Besides the standard seat height of 870 mm, there are three other seat options to choose from. You would like out to find out more about the BM F 900 GS? Check out the following link: www.bmw-motorrad.com/en/shorturls/f900gs.html.
Only option must be front fender of F800&F900 Advanture because during continental ride rider gets tired of front wind noise and wind power probably it is optional. I realize that all the riders were complaining about how heavy R1250GS so this F800 & F900 GS are really big alternatives to heavy big brother PERFECT, let me test ride
So F800GS and F900GS Adventure are basically the same as their predecessors but with slightly larger displacement and more power. The F900GS seems to be a completely new developed bike and I'm curious as to how it will perform against its competitors such as a KTM 890.
So the 900 is now a Transalp from BMW. I'm curious about how those 105 HP will feel on the roads as so far the engine might've been the weakest spot of the current F 850 GS.
I can NOT wait!!! 2nd March 2024, I will be going to my local BMW Motorrad dealer to look at the new F 800 GS and try the G 310 GS on the rolling road. From someone who has been looking at Yamaha for so long, I think BWM has stolen my ambition for my next bike (A2 restricted).
With all due respect, the price will be, I suppose, very close to €18 thousand equipped with all its extras and packages, I'm talking about the Adventure, honestly for that amount I prefer a second-hand 1200/1250 Adventure, of which there are many for that price and with few km. I see the new adventure 900 as very good, but to spend that amount I prefer an authentic German boxer, even if it is second-hand.
Bmw should also launch the F900GS with 500cc and 650cc engines as a flyweight ADV Rally model. Also 500cc and 650cc as flyweight Dual Sport ´n´ SM, these models are what riders all over the world want to buy. Dual Sport Bmw G650X Challenge were ahead of it´s time.

F 900 GS look good!!!
New BMW ❤️🔥
Well done. Cool bikes each with their independent focus. 👍🏾👏🏾
You name it! Which bike would you choose for a trip? 😉
@@bmwmotorrad oh that F900GS definitely looks like the one for me. I live in Colorado, land of BDR trails and mountain roads. I could put that thing to use and we would have a great time I bet. 😂
Finally BMW makes a real worthy oponent to the Africa 900 and the Tenere
Why did you move from belt drive to chain final drive? Feels like a step back in maintainance.
I still see the bmw a great bike for an old person... And they choose to present it with an old person... 😂 😂 😂
Awesome I was just in looking for my first bike!
Which one is your favourite so far? 😊
@@bmwmotorrad I was going for a 750 gs. But this might change very soon :D
105HP for a first bike is too weak, go for min 200+ ... and also 230kg is too light, go for 300kg as minimum ...

I just bought a F850 GSA and now BMW comes out with something a all new. 😓
same for me 😐
Bought f850gs few days ago, after test ride. Dealer told me that f900gs is coming soon, but I got good price and prefer to get models at the end of production, don't like to be bmw test mule. Anyways, hope BMW made great bike again.
Like me! Sold and buy the new one
The F 900 GSA is just an update, not a new bike.
Looking forward to them in the flesh. I HOPE BMW fixed the notchy quick-shifter (my major complaint on my previous F-750, others complained as well),
@bmwmotorrad, This F900 GS will sell like hot cakes! Love the look, but the fuel range might be an issue for many that would like to use this one for touring. A 2-3L extra fuel would be perfect and not add too much weight. The F900GSA is just too heavy and personally I'd rather go for the R1250GS - which is superior in every way to it.
and like 10.000€ more expensive lol
Hopefully BMW has added some spice to their existing 900 twin. It leaves a lot to be desired compared to its competitors.
CONTRACT MANUFACTURING LONCIN, CHINA.
At present, Loncin makes engines for the BMW F 750 GS and F 850 GS. In addition, the midsize scooters BMW C 400 X and C 400 GT roll off the production lines here.
Nice bikes! Loved my old F800GS. But think will be to expensive this time...
Great bikes for sure and I'd love to own one! But are the service manuals available, so we can repair our own bikes if we so desire?
Hey! We're glad you like them! 🤩
Maybe this video helps you out: th-cam.com/video/64TghAIv-EI/w-d-xo.html.
We appreciate your kind words! 🙌
I wish the headlights were also updated!
Wasn't there always 4 seat options rally, comfort, low and standard ? Hardly incredible !
It weill definitely be hard to beat!
Please share a link where we can look at the specs of the newly launched motorcycles

Check out our Instagram Story. There we have shared all the links to the bikes. 😄
So the 900 is now a Transalp from BMW. I'm curious about how those 105 HP will feel on the roads as so far the engine might've been the weakest spot of the current F 850 GS.
the 800 is a transalp competitor.. the 900 hunts in the range of a twin at least from an engine power perspective..
to bad they didnt keep the distinctive bmw gs headlight
The headlight is cool. You’re right.
Can you get the wheels from the F900GS for the Adventure?
The F 900 GS has its wheels, also related to their size, tailored to maximum off-road action. This configuration is therefore not possible.
Please give an option for shaft drive in this segment
Can’t wait for gs 1300
Looks promising 🙂
It will meet all your expectations and even more! 😉🔥
I'm hoping for a f500-600 again ):
F900gs❤❤❤
A little disappointing that it will not have an iconic GS headlamp from what I can see on a thumbnail.
Symmetry is the order of the day across all models.
1300 will be the same.
I agree - the asymmetry is part of the GS's iconic looks. This new one reminds me of the now tired looking F650.
like a honda
@@sophiecollins the f900 gs shares the same headlight of the (updated) g310 gs, go and check.
The f900 gs really looks like the cb 500 x
Why does this feel like a video from 2010?
adding 900GS to my wishlist😬
Why does the F900 seems more adventurous than the F900 adventure. The names should be swapped.
Fantastic video and models so im falling love with F900GS 👏👏👏💪💪💪🤙🤙🤙🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thank you!
Again a conflict with names, two different bikes with the same name, the first f800gs twin and this. Why are you doing this?
who cares
Great work on the f 900 gs, but I'd have preferred BMW kept the same headlight of the other two siblings.
It looks a bit like the transalp now.
From the 310 to 800 and nothing else between !😂
Job well done BMW 👏🏾
💙💙
I’d like to know where they are made and assembled and more deep technical information, like options of ride mode, packages, etc…
These bikes are produced at the BMW Motorrad plant in Berlin as well as at the plants in Thailand and Brazil. For detailed information about the the bikes check out our website. You can already configure your dream bike now! 🤩
105 ponies and -14kg looks like a great package…I’d expect the 800 will be phased out and the 900 to be pricey
