I hate how normalized eating out daily is. No one knows how to cook anymore or just doesn't want to so they constantly eat out and wonder why they have no money because it all goes to convenience. I used to eat out every weekday for lunch and all it got me was an extra 10 lbs and debt.
Yes. I hate that things like door dash / Uber eats even exists.
I refuse to eat out now, I cook all my meals at home and I've been saving so much money. 🤑💲
Not to mention you can get healthier food and know what goes into your body when you make it yourself. I technically pay a little more for organic but it’s still less than eating out and I get more of a return in the long run.
@@meaghanceciliawood8972 why? people who can afford it or people who need it like i did when my car was getting fixed b/c i live alone are are right in their choice to use it (maybe i'd use it if i were to get COVID). if you hate those services for providing its service then you should hate any delivery service. like amazon or any pizza delivery, for example. if people are using it on credit they're probably using more than just uber eats / door dash.

Yeah, I'm 23 but I cringe at the way she talks, and it's not even as bad as some other girls typically speak. It's just with that spoiled voiceee and dramatizing some silly stuff, it just makes me wanna close the video.
I genuinely feel like Graham would be watching / reacting to videos of people's spending habits regardless if he had a youtube channel or not.

Dear god lolol. You would be proud of me - I do spend less now lol! At this point in my life I lived 40 minutes from where I spent about 10 hours a day (with school work etc) so I ate out sooo much more

Looking at her groceries, I had the feeling she was going to eat out all week. I think it’s cause I couldn’t figure out what she was gonna cook.
Fact
Chicken and veggies over rice. People always have bags of rice laying in the Cupboard. Snacked on broccoli and ranch dip. Pan fried salmon, slices of salmon and cream cheese on crackers, Basic chicken salad made from mayonnaise and shredded chicken diced pickles and whatever else you have in the fridge. Million different variations.

@@lauraeskinsart understandable. I was assuming that most people do have those things laying around and don’t realize it. At the same time we can’t assume that she doesn’t have any thing else in her cupboards or pantry or freezer that could help create variety with some basic food items that she had bought at the beginning of the week.
I stockpile dry goods like mad, but she doesn't look like she does.
Plot twist: Graham’s new coffee will actually be a designer coffee that will cost $15 a cup.

When you talked about price and demand it reminded me about something when I was studying business at school. There’s something called price elasticity of demand which talks in more detail about what you talked about and allows a business to calculate how much they should lower or higher their products costs to maximise profit!
It’s not LA is expensive as much as it is “ I wanna live the basic LA life at sweet greens and Starbucks every day”

In college, I split a three bedroom apartment for $510 per month, $170/person. It wasn't an exceptionally small place either. I felt pretty comfortable there, and there wasn't much to complain about. I was also less than a mile from campus.
Though I have still never met anyone who had cheaper rent than I did then, but the complex I was in had 11 other units at the same price.
For context, this was two years ago in a city of 40,000.

04:00 shes right. When I was living with roommates in the midwest, I was paying only $200/month. You'd be surprised how far your money goes when you avoid expensive cities like LA. And, no, the place wasn't run down nor was in in a small town. It was a fairly mid-sized city.

You should do a video with a TH-camr that you have previously reviewed their spending habits and it’s a week of them living on a budget you made for them and if they ever want to make a purchase out of that they have to message you and they regroup with you see if there’s any bad spending habits that were challenged, etc

In college, my rent was $250 ($500 for a 2/1). With all utilities, I needed up paying around $300/month and I was right next to the football stadium and downtown. It was a small town in Alabama, so prices are dirt cheap there.
