Appreciate the video I've been thinking of trading in my ps5 and getting the Ally X as I'm only playing Rocket League recently, so the bakkers mod say my orginal car what everyone can see had a topper, flag, plain skin i used to mod to take off the topper and flag and I opted for an animated skin so from my pov on my console only i just see the car with a animated skin others will still see me with a flag, topper and plain skin?
Hey bro! I’ve found myself playing RL more on my Ally X than my Series S because of portability + Bakkes Mod, so sounds like you’re in a similar situation! I’m not absolutely sure on this re what EXACTLY others see - but I suspect it’d be either an absolutely stock version of everything (full default) or it’d be whatever the skin you have selected on your non-Bakkes Mod setup (PS5 for you, essentially).
@cailife Thanks I've subcribed also watched your ally X setup video which I'll come back to when I get mine very helpful! I'm from the UK too but I should be moving to the US in February so I'm going to make the change of console. I have a video idea which would be good to see a comparison with a 4k TV with a Ally X hooked up to it and compare it to the series X or Xbox one/ps5 and see how the upscaling with the Ally X compares with these consoles.
@@JGSHDArgentina Good luck with your move, man! Re upscaling - check out some of my footage with the Ally X docked, and you'll see that whilst it's still a great way to game, the graphical fidelity certainly doesn't compare to using a Series X or PS5. The 7 inch screen really does a great job of hiding imperfections, and the VRR on the device is fab for protecting against screen tearing, but if you watch some of my recent Silent Hill 2 footage, you'll see some elements of screen tearing whilst playing docked that don't show up whilst in handheld. Having said that, Rocket League is so well optimised that this is definitely less of an issue as it's never going to be pushing the Ally X as hard as a 2025 AAA game would!
@@cailife Cheers, just done a bit of research if you have a TV monitor which has NVIDIA G-Sync & AMD FreeSync if you activate those the tearing should be minimal to almost non existent apparently.
If you are any good id recommend going for a pc or ps5. You wont be competetive on a handheld. Especially not in handheld mode since it has 7ms latency on the screen. A steam deck oled for instance has like 0.1ms
Side note, but what camera/mic are you using? This is so crisp 🤌
Thank you! Sony A7IV and actually all the audio for this is through the DJI Mic 2 🔥
