This piece expertly captures the overwhelming sounds that occur for a vibraphonist when they're playing a lot of music with the pedal down. There's this wash of sound that usually doesn't get transmitted out into the audience, and it's refreshing to hear that sound be the focal point of an extended piece. Excellent work, Sarah!

I'd like to know what the composer is trying to express, because as much as I love minimal and avant-garde music, it's quite challenging to figure out any point to this without some sort of program note.
