- Just a short video regarding the cleaning and oiling of the M&P FPC. It is a simple gun to clean and oil.
Supplies needed:
Mean Green Cleaner
Lucas Gun Extreme Duty Oil
Cotton Tipped Applicator (6)
Tools Needed:
Dental Pick
Barrel Brushes
Microfiber Towel
Scouring Pad
Toothbrush (for blot scrubbing)
This shouldn't take more than 15 minutes total once you have disassembled the gun for cleaning.
Important note: Don't lose the extractor spring or firing pin spring, they are not available yet. I have been checking with S&W on these parts.
Just got my FPC, thanks for your info. Will watch more
Thank you!
@@hollowpointdefense can you give me info on the optic sight, flash light and shoulder strap set up I was on Amazon wasent sure which one to order. Like your set up. I live in Sierra Vista az

Even with trigger back I still have to use a long screwdriver to press trigger down more to let bolt in. Took me a while to figure it out.
You can use your finger
I have had similar experience. Even though the trigger hammer is back I could not get the bolt to come forward. I use a fiberglass stick. I only have to depress the hammer ever so slightly and the bolt comes forward easily
I was expecting you to demonstrate how you clean.. not talk about it.
Bad video imo
It isn't hard to figure out the process, If you can't. Bad gun owner IMO.
Hello, recently took my FPC out for the first time and had some major carbon buildup on the bolt carrier. Do you have any tips for getting a deep clean? Also do you have any tips on cleaning the interior of the receiver?
For the bolt, I use a scouring pad, works great! For the rest of the gun, just do the best you can, I find that it cleans somewhat easily.
Is that a compensator on the barrel? If so, what is it?
No, just a flash jacket.
Question...i field stripped mine, cleaned everything, and when I reassembled it, the trigger is just mush now, no click 😮
You probably let the hammer go forward... Reset it. Watch this: th-cam.com/video/-_FcoGvFWxA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qzQWMT0vo12lKtQ5
@@hollowpointdefense yes, that was it. Right after I asked, I found your video and was laughing how I missed it.
there are not any triggers yet. If one comes out I am buying one. If you get a chance, a video would be welcome. I thought all your videos were very informative. I am subscribing.
One will most likely be out soon.
Thank you!
Thank you.@@hollowpointdefense

Thanks very much for your helpful videos.
You're welcome.
is there anything you can do to improve the trigger!
As of now, I am not sure if there are any aftermarket triggers. I don't plan on changing it at all, even if one comes out.
Now, I haven't looked at it to see if anything can be polished up. Mine is pretty smooth and good, not gritty at all like the handguns are.
I had just gotten my m and p fpc brand new. In the instructions it says to do a cleaninging and lubricaition when I get it. I wanted to know if this was necessary?
Absolutely, These firearms are NOT lubricated for use.
@@hollowpointdefense what lubricant do you recommend?
@@bingoling5051 I have used Lucas Exteme Duty oil for years.
They say if it "slides" use grease if it "turns" use oil
