I commend you for sounding so enthused and enthusiastic about playing solo while at nearly 3k hours myself this game has practically given me a mixture of depression & PTSD
You just need to fight past the depression and ptsd until you realize everything is a lie and meaningless. Then work past that until you can find joy in lack of structure. Nothing is forever. Rust teaches us this all the time
I also use this strat, but in addition, i will let people know that I am 53 and they think its cool and give me stuff cuz I'm an old guy. My neighbors fought off three raid attempts for me this wipe. I didn't even have to go outside.
Shame me being 31 isn't high enough to get that pity. Most folks are probably in their 20s and I feel like I should ask Rust to make a cane weapon for me.
You put a lot of effort into these video, great cinematics, great narration, excellent attitude. I really enjoy your videos, and think you deserve a hell of alot more subs. Cheers
Still never disappointed. Such good content man honestly the best TH-camr there is I await your videos with more enthusiasm than anyone else ( don’t tell bluetearz)
@@ReksAdventures Took two weeks, but my house got offlined eventually. And of course it happened after my neighbors gave up the wipe and had their base despawn...
As a guy who's trying to play Rust on a PoS laptop that's fond of rarely crashing, lagging like fuck, sometimes freezing in the most annoying and awkward spots and less likely to win any fights in PvP... Having friends with neighbors is more how I survived with only two raids in a single wipe. Well, three if you count a failed raid where my neighbors managed to salvage the situation best they could. I don't have a good computer for this game, constantly on worse than potato settings, I cannot afford to make enemies. I'm either useful to my neighbors that they'll see that I'm safe, or I'll just get destroyed over and over. And I don't really have fun getting murdered back to back. So this trick to success isn't much of a secret, for me, it's the only way to survive in Rust.

Making friends can be a huge benefit for stuff like this! Major part of why I do it!
@@ReksAdventures Yeah, except in voice chat they yelled "Leave the old guy alone!"....kinda bittersweet 🤣
😂 👍

"They're storm troopers they can't aim"

More coming for sure!
Cool stuff I dig it 👍
Thanks for the visit
As a solo i always pretend i am roleplayer.
Heck i started building valheim type of houses just to make people think i am a real one.
I learned a LONG time ago, the more chad-like your base is, the more of a target you are for an offline
@@ReksAdventures Took two weeks, but my house got offlined eventually. And of course it happened after my neighbors gave up the wipe and had their base despawn...
Wish that was longer.
Some of our early ones were a little too short imo
This is like a PvE negotiation server !
Lol except it was a high pop pvp server. I just make friends with my neighbors alot
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
@ReksMore Adventures always do
now i always want a team

You do what you gotta! I used to play similar settings
eyo! Lets go! Always be friendly.
Or else
I'm not sure but I think smoke grenades give more gp for ammo then grenades do?
100% but they'd been removed from the shop on the server I was playing on
13:16 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Man was not ready for it
Any time I ever try to talk to people like this, they're always mad toxic and I never ever get these interactions.
How the fuck do you do it?
Delete the toxic encounters 🤣😂 but fr a lot of it is my approach. Even when people are toxic i remain consistent
Where the rest of the video?
Lol, sorry that's it! Some other stuff happened for sure, it just didn't make the cut
Also why does listening to the starting introductions sound like watching Cavemen talking...?
🤣😂😅
👍👍
😳
oooo
I like the 'friends or die' approach, it appeals to my binary brain. Loving your work
There is no in between. You are my ally, or you are my enemy.
@@ReksAdventures To be clear, I am ally!
I 👍
heck yeah
like 10th or something idk?
lol something like that
fifth i guess
5th is still pretty quick!
@@ReksAdventures yea its night on my server so i usually watch yt
Yeah I'm first
Fast as heck! Must be part of that notification squad! ;)
Yeah im second
Almost as fast as that first person!
fourth i guess
Naw you're third
oh, I guess forth, but technically since third didn't call third, you get it? I think
