HOW IT ALL FELL APART IN SEASON 12 - Apex Legends

- Today was the day when I gave in to doubt, fear, and despair. In Apex Legends ranked, playing Wraith was the plan to make the most serious attempt at hitting diamond but it ended in misery. However, getting out of Platinum is still the goal, and high mobility characters is going to be one of my strategies for success; Wraith, Pathfinder and Valkyrie are now my top picks for Defiance, and I'm hoping to get to Diamond IV in the first split on Olympus.
In today's adventure, I found out the hard way that those of us who are "good" but not great are unable to carry random teammates, so mistakes tend to feel magnified when caught out of position or choosing the wrong...ahem, direction, while driving a trident. However, holding out for a good game doesn't feel real good, so I'm hoping to come away from this week's gaming session with better patience and harsher decisions for when I see non committal teammates.

I just recently started playing Apex at the end of season 11, and since then I found your videos, and they are the most entertaining gameplay videos of any game Ive ever watched because of your amazing ability to tell a story.
Agreed! I follow Jankz, iTemp, and SooxFar because of how damn good they are but, commentary wise, this is the best.

Ah yes, my favorite part of Saturday. You truly had me believing you fell over the same ledge twice in the beginning and I simply didn't have the words lol. Also, you're making me wonder if I should be running the havoc!

Took me most of the day and late into the night to FINALLY have time to sit down and watch this video, but it was well worth the wait. The action was non-stop and narrated to perfection as usual. I've been spending 99% of this season in Ranked Arenas since they added the hammer point to the RE-45, now I'm mostly running Lifeline with a Gold Bag, RE-45, and Mozambique from the 1st round through the final, even if it goes to sudden death. The Gold Bag has contributed to MANY saves from the jaws of defeat, and I'm truly loving hearing the "thud" caused by the hammer point on the RE-45. I haven't managed to find that weapon in the few rounds of Ranked BR that I've played, and it isn't always available in Control mode either. I've decided I will probably just get my ranked enjoyment from watching your climb, instead of putting too much effort into it for myself. Though, in all fairness, part of that is because I've started my 3rd Playthrough on Cyberpunk 2077 after they dropped the 1.5 Patch. Take care, and can't wait until next Saturday's video.

@@RagTagg I'm trying the female version of V still as a nomad to see the difference in dialogue from the male V that I spent 160 hours on, but taking even longer to progress the story this time. I'm still finding stuff I didn't before. BTW: This 1.5 update does have some graphical improvement, and I've only had one crash in the 8+ hours into it so far.
Turbocharger Havoc, Level 3 Shotgun bolt then yeeting off the map… My boys and I where crying with laughter because we have all done that on Olympus. Keep up the great music, commentary and content @Ragtagg

Hey Raggtag, Master here, I really like your videos though my only suggestion is think of ranked as a chess game instead of a First Person Shooter. Your team doesn't need to do 3 separate 1v1s. I'd really rely on your teammates to get angles to down one of the enemies and then push the final 2 up but position yourself so your able to escape in an event of a 3rd party
Yup , those fight don't need to be fair for your opponents. Why doing 1v1 when you can go for a 2v1 or 3v1 hehehe
@@bosco1603 Gun figting ins't the only part of apex. positionning, rotation, knowing when to push or pull in a fight, plus the "randos" componants which can be something. It doesn'tmakegoing to diamonds super easy
Teammates are mean or too nice like I had a dude ask me how old I was and I told him 14 and then he treated me like a 2 year old. And mean teammates everyones had em but I'm like a frickin toxic magnet
@@endersoul118 I'd say I had a bit more toxic people in arena than in BR. After I'm soloqueing a lot more in arena.
I'm also wondering if it depends on what server you are playing. I play in EU and even people being toxic are quite mild. I'm a woman, use my mic a lot(I'm too lazy to type lol) , but I rarely have sexist remark.
On the other side, I have some friend playing in NA servers and it's apparently the racism, homophobia and sexism festival with toxic people.

This might sound dumb but I appreciate how you are doing this. You've played with some of the best TH-camrs (iTemp, etc) and could easily ask for help but you chose to go it alone as opposed to getting dragged to diamond. Seriously man, I really do find that awesome.

I can't describe how much I love this mans conent
That warm up game (minus falling off the map) is what my first 15 'warm up games' look like until I get put in a less disgusting lobby with slightly smarter randos. If we stick together, don't die until top 5 and each get a kill, that's my warm up and I have a solid idea of what the rest of the day looks like until the SBMM finally goes "OHHHH right! You're not a pred, my bad" and gives me an actual skill based lobby, on MY skill level.
Honestly, even if you do never pass platinum, you still try your hardest and you’re still a very good and skilled player, whether you think so or not. All of the other people who reach predator or masters like LuLuLuvely, or iTzTimmy, they have been playing forever and being extremely skilled playing apex ig just runs in their blood or something😂. They also play in Tournaments and stuff like that so they have a lot of experience. While that may not be the case for you, you’re still a VERY good player. It doesn’t matter that you don’t hit diamond, you have a good sense of humor and it looks like you enjoy playing the game which is all that matters. Keep it up! I’m certain you’ll hit diamond soon, i just know it :)♥️
