I forgot none of em are americans, so I was surprised when they got surprised.
As someone who has now grown up in Rhode Island for over a decade, I found it funny, but still felt super-offended, that none of them, not even Brian or Evan, knew that Rhode Island WAS obviously a U.S. state.

Its not that they couldn't print him in green it's because they couldn't print him iin grey because they didn't have enough gray ink, which led to them using green because they had a fuckton of it
i once read it was because at the time green was a more expensive ink

If anyone cares, 'to teach' was the irregular verb, since its past tense would be taught, and it changes the initial spelling of 'teach'.
Behave, fry, and bake's past tense all end in 'ed/ied', making them regular verbs.

Rhode Island is not actually an island. But parts of the state is. the person who discovered the state thought it was because of it's land mass. ( the ocean cuts in the middle of it) And named it " Roodt Eylandt" which is Dutch for Red Island. When British took over they changed it to Rhode Island. It is the smallest state. Hawaii ( an actual state made up of several islands) is actually bigger than New Jersey.

Irregular verbs are the ones where the different tenses are completely different, not just formed using the normal root and suffix. For example, from the four words in the video, let's look at the past tense form:
to bake -> baked
to fry -> fried
to behaved -> behaved
to teach -> taught
So "to teach" is the irregular verb.

Hawaii's scale includes the water that the islands inhabit, not the size if you put each island together. I believe even if that were the case, Hawaii would still be larger.

the state was named by a dutch explorer name Adrian block. he named it "Roodt Eylandt" which means red island because of the red clay there that lined the shore, the name became rhode island after being anglicized under british rule. thats where it gets its name, still doesnt make sense but theres your info.
