Holy shit, that dude´s Sample breakdown is a goldmine of knowledge. Thanks for having him on! Also, he seems like the nicest, down to earth dude ever. Would love to grab a beer and jam out on his synths with him.
He's right key boards sound way better then any DAW. And if your computer crashes you still have your keyboard. Bro this nigga is loaded . Bro house looks like Guitar Center 🤣🤣🤣
15:02 “stemming out different parts at the end” He means mixing and matching different melody sounds together? What’s the benefit? I assume more variation.. am I missing something?
this was good. My loops be sounding like this more ambient and I be thinking nobody gon know how to catch it w drums. Im happy he spoke on how he feel like that.
@@Producergrind I wouldn't know about a lot of sample makers if it weren't for you guys but, Dj Pain 1, Curtiss King, Cxdy all make tight samples. Here recently I started watching vids on Billy Jeanz Beats. He don't say anything in his vids be nice to know what's goin' on in his head. I don't if you've interviewed Phonix Beats yet but he's ill. I know there's way more than what I mentioned.
So this is the dude who made all murda beatz beats 😂 Yo best channel ever but i think i speak for everyone when i say: We Need Another Cardo Got Wings Interview!!!!!!!!!
Analog and software is like comparing watching porn to being with a real life women software is like watching porn but analog is like having sex with a real person
a rev 2 as a first synth ? Great synth but I don't think most people have that kinda money to blow. Especially if you are used to scrolling through presets and don't understand how to make sounds from scratch. I would recommend a Korg Minilogue XD, its got far greater range of sounds and you can get a used one for like $400
my first synth was the rev 2. I would personally recommend that one. its not hard to use imo. and there are a lot of patch banks (these are like expansion packs for synths) on TH-cam u can find and use.
This dude is open and honest about his process. Valuable 🙏

Producer has a producer… crazy
crazy for real lol we in a different time
808 mafia
@@LordOfAurum nah that’s lowkey always been the case. Like Dr Dre had other people play his melodies too (Scott Storch for example).
@@dathunderman4 not even low key more like old news
Because people pay for the name that the actual beat. That's why 808 mafia works, it's become a brand for hard trap beats.

Minilogue was actually my first one too. Rev2 is kinda steep but invest in yourself imo

@@Producergrind two grand isnt realistic at all for a beginner idk maybe i suck at making money but thats like a months pay
Personally prefer the 08 over the rev2 but they are both great as first synth bc they are poly, have presets & a wide range of sounds.
Great video thank you
