One of the hardest techniques for an artist is to get the needy cute fluff ball of the workspace 😅 I am a seamstress and my kitty always want to nap on my patters I am tracing or having a cuddle on my fabric I am cutting in this moment. 😹❤
Lol! My cat sometimes comes and lays down on my arm when I'm trying to draw. Or if I'm sitting at my desk, he comes and sits his big floofy butt down on my sketchbook. Why? Because he's a cat. 😎😎😼
I like the art supplies/unboxing videos. I actually find it really enjoyable to watch people use fancy art supplies that I can't afford or that I like, but would never actually use. I buy expensive gouache and watercolour because they are almost the only thing that I use, and I wouldn't dare to buy Copics or expensive pastels because I know it would be a waste of money as I'm bad at using them, so to see other people use and enjoy them makes me happy
I'm not even an artist, but I enjoy watching your reviews. I love hearing people talk about their passions, and show all the supplies they get to further that passion.
When I was in high school I had a blue ink BIC ballpoint pen that was my favorite drawing tool. It was cheap and I didn't even have a cap for it but I loved it. I would doodle all day in class. I started a super detailed drawing, kind of like those pictures that you could look at all day and find new details. Took me all of Senior year to finish and that pen was the only thing I used. No need for a $50 fancy pen lol
1:55 - 2:02: "that's how you draw a cat, just start with a circle" :O wow it looks so realistic! also gotta say i love the art you made - the lox is my personal favorite :)
I've always liked your ballpoint pen art a lot. Both cartoony style and realistic style look awesome with your technique! And when you add watercolor as a pop of color, like to your portraits from years ago, it looks especially appealing to me. Love it!
Sally is just gorgeous!! I could watch her all day!! Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love your videos, they have been super helpful in my artistic journey....but I love that u include Sally in your videos....most people would edit that out and make a new intro....but I love that you kept it in just like she is your little helpful art co-pilot !! Sending Much Love To You AND Sally!
the sally cameos in this video were absolutely wonderful 😭💖💖 I used to draw with ballpoint pens a lot towards the end of high school - they're a very underrated supply!
I appreciate your art supplies videos mostly beacause you talk about things you may not like or that could make it better. Many times that helps me decide if i want to use a product that has a particular negative point to decide if the money is worth it. Happy Sally just wants mama, my six kitties say hello
I would love a colouring book with your made up creature drawings. A fun challenge that could help you come up with ideas for something like that would be a wheel, or a randomizer that picks two or more animals for you to combine. You could even get your fanbase to suggest different animals to put in the randomizer!
I thought the fox/lion creature was going to be my favourite then you did the husky. He’s gorgeous! Makes me want to grab some ballpoint pens and start sketching. Now to just tear myself away from Animal Crossing.
I live in a remote place, so I love your reviews bc buying art becomes a strategic mission, and you help with the research portion. Also, happy to report I CAN get these exact pens in my town hahah. Reading a book on the history of ink, and it goes into the history of ballpoint pens and the accessible cost and usability of them opened up so many possibilities for people with less money to record and share information and art. Before then, it was only elite classes of society that could afford writing supplies. Ballpoint pens for the win!
Sketching in ballpoint pen can be a nightmare, when you don’t have proper pressure control. But if there’s a graphite sketch base down, like she has, it’s not difficult. Both just take practice.
I like art supply reviews, even though I don’t really draw or do art in a traditional sense. I just love watching the experimentation that goes into finding the characteristics of the supplies. I know I can’t do justice to any of them, but watching an expert is cathartic and relaxing. Plus, Sally... nuff said....
Thank you for admitting that you had sketched with a pencil before using the pen. I could tell there were sketch lines but didn't know that it was with a pencil and before you admitted to using the pen, I was telling my husband how I don't understand how people can draw something so well proportioned without the ability to erase. So when you admitted to that, it really made me feel a lot better about my own art. Thank you for being honest.
I would never buy many of the art supplies you have reviewed but I enjoy watching how much joy trying new supplies brings you, and I like seeing all the art you create.
I am glad to see you using a Pen to make art, because I only draw with pencils and pens. This video reminds me that I can still get something done without buying expensive stuff.
I finally bought a set of Windsor and Newton cotman pan watercolours after years of admiring them! But I’ve made some great art that I’m super proud of using dollar store watercolours. Back in high school I used to love drawing with just ball point pens and pencils, I saved all my doodles I drew on my homework!
People are such ass hats lol .. you can't read minds! I get it, I'm an artist with little to no money, but I still watch the videos because it's fun and I love your art ?? If they want to see you use XYZ, then they should suggest it, not make a back handed comment. 😒
The realism you can get from a ballpoint pen is unreal! Watching the process of going from basic circle to realistic cat like at the 2:40 example was amazing. I wish I had that kind of speed
Sally very cute today, love when you do the unboxing or new supplies, saves me buying them and trying, you don’t come across as “buy this human or your just not an artist!” Keep being you this is why I watch.
These all turned out really awesome. Sally reminds me so much of my cat lol. He loves to sit on my work, smack at my pencil or whatever I am using, and he even tries to steal supplies. Cats are too funny.
I love the Lion Fox! Also, I think that drawing with ballpoint pens sounds like it would be super fun. I'll have to pull mine out sometime and try this out!
It seemed for a while that this video will be a cat video with "art intermission" lol. (I guess Sally just read the comments of all the people saying how they love to see her in the video and decided to please them :).) Anyway - all three drawings look so great but I think I like the first one the best :). Oh yes and a note to that person saying that they don't watch your art supplies reviews because they wouldn't buy them anyway. Well as for me I love to watch art supplies reviews but not that much for me to decide if I would buy them or not, I just enjoy watching artists talking about their impressions form the product, watch them trying the supply and make something using the supply. I never went to search for review on TH-cam when I was deciding if I would buy a new supply of some sort of not, partly maybe because I'm not used to it (I grew up without internet and I'm actually only last few years discovering art channels and this sort of things), but mostly probably also because it's rather individual and even when reviews do make it more clearer it still doesn't mean that I would really like the art supply even if it's the type I usually like (does the sentence make sense?). And of course then there's the question of availability in our country, because what is commonly available abroad (and art channels I follow are all from foreign countries) is often not available in our country (if I don't want to order online from abroad). But I still like to watch reviews on such art supplies because it's fun :)
I appreciate your art supply videos. While I probably also will never buy them for myself I like seeing how people use different art supplies and what the options are out there. I also like seeing how people come up with ideas with random art supplies they didn't pick out themselves.
Whenever I was in school, I also did a lot of drawing with ball points. My favorite is the metal .7 Zebra BP, they have a wide range of line weight depending on the pressure used. They are also waterproof if you decide to use them with watercolors or other paints... Also, your art and Sally both are beautiful!
I had a ballpoint pen phase as well, and still find myself reaching for a regular old ballpoint pen here and there. It is just such a simple and versatile tool! I absolutely love the style of your art and your voice is so nice to hear while I draw along. All of the effort you put into your art and the quality of your videos really shows. Seeing lots of Sally is a nice bonus as well :)
I dont think you come across as you want us to buy every art supplies your reviews are come across as just that a review of something you found or was sent. If that person sees it differently that is their problem you are kind and excited to share things with us and I appreciate that. This is your channel and you can what you want to do on it. Yes i love the art you make but honestly i keep coming back for you. You are fun to watch, have a great voice with great advice from experience and of course sally is great and the art is a bonus to me.
Great ballpoint work!! There’s also some satisfaction when creating something with a pen...it’s an unexpected art material. Your kitty stole the show!! So so adorable!
Your videos are great for showing all types of art supplies and I really enjoy your art and seeing you try different things, also Sally is just too adorable
I found your channel because of your reviews of art supplies. And even though I don't buy most of the supplies that you feature, I enjoy that you take the time to review them. It never comes across that I have to buy it just because it's in your video.
Sally was adorable in this video🥰 seeing you using only a pen like this really inspiring, i forget sometimes how a simple pen can be made such beautiful art with. Also, that husky! 🥰😍
I like all the drawings. But I love the Huskey. I am very happy you review & try new art supplies. I love to do mixed media myself. So it helps a lot to watch how different supplies perform for different artists & what they think of them for what is being charged for them. I rarely buy myself new art supplies. One reason is I buy the art supplies my daughter needs 1st, then myself. And I'm on a tight budget so it's VERY helpful. So thank you. And great job with a ballpoint pen. TYFS
Ballpoint pens will always hold a special place in my heart as an accessible art supply but man I remember all the times the ink would come out in globs, smear, or just not come out at all. Plus the times in the summer where the ink would explode all over my bag. Fun times haha. But it's always nice seeing artists use ballpoint pen to make some beautiful drawings cause it's always very inspiring. 😄💖
Wow, that's crazy. Two days ago I decided to return my habit of pen drawing - so it's exactly the day you posted this video :D I've felt quite frustrated recently and tried to remember the time when drawing gave my joy. And that was when I drew with pens during boring lectures at university. I have so many memorable drawings from that time. So I took a pen and a notebook and... it worked! I guess the minimalism of art materials creates this feeling of freedom and takes off all the pressure that I put on myself as a perfectionist. It's some kind of magic. So it's so cool that you made this great video about it
How not to Draw......Let your cat sit on your desk. Sally was so adorable in this video, even more so. I think she also agrees that you did awesome with just a ballpoint pen. Love that you drew three different pieces.
I loved how your cat was the "spotlight" for your video! I LOVE to draw with the ballpoint pen (it's one of my main art supplies I use the most-I have several videos on my channel about it). I LOVE your third piece with the ballpoint pen! Great job!
Sally! Never too much Sally time! XD!! It's so funny, I used to draw with those in high school all the time! They were also my favorite drawing tool! They make such nice smooth lines!
I really appreciate the tip about shading. I think it is something I will have to try. Thank you. I think it will help on my own shading cause I over shade most time.
Sally stole the show, let me tell you ahaha Oh man, I doodled so much with my ballpoint pens. All those little student fairs for college and stuff? Always picked up pens and just doodled on my notebook when bored.
I love watching you review new stuff!! Even if I'm not going to buy any of them they are still really fun and interesting to watch!! Lots of love to you and Sally 💙💙
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE when you draw husky!!!! I have never tried pen art but it looks interesting and I love the textures!!! Keep up the good work!💗💗💗💗
I love your review videos! Even if I don't plan on buying the supplies you are using now, I can still use them if I decide to try them out later! Also seeing you have fun making art is 95% of the reason I like your videos.
I love how involved Sally was in this video! Super cute, she looks so cuddly
One of the hardest techniques for an artist is to get the needy cute fluff ball of the workspace 😅 I am a seamstress and my kitty always want to nap on my patters I am tracing or having a cuddle on my fabric I am cutting in this moment. 😹❤
My cats like to sit on my feet while I'm doodling. I move my legs a lot and my a**hole cats refuse to move. Man, I love those idiots lmao
Lol! My cat sometimes comes and lays down on my arm when I'm trying to draw. Or if I'm sitting at my desk, he comes and sits his big floofy butt down on my sketchbook. Why?
Because he's a cat. 😎😎😼
sosichan same with my dog, she’s a Maltese and whenever I’m sewing or drawing she either lays on what I’m doing or tries to eat my paper 😂
My cat used to sit on my homework. Like, I wasn’t looking for an excuse not to do it but I’ll take it!
I don't even draw or paint but love her videos.. 😁 It is amzing to watch the creative process of any art! 😊
Kinda same, i have some love for markers, but as i used water color more, i have morw love for it
I'm not even an artist, but I enjoy watching your reviews. I love hearing people talk about their passions, and show all the supplies they get to further that passion.

No need for a $50 fancy pen lol
I thought the stars were spirits, or like, eyes... which would explain this little one's expression lol.
Sally is the most adorable cat. "All the loving mum, gimmie gimmie!!"
1:55 - 2:02: "that's how you draw a cat, just start with a circle" :O wow it looks so realistic!
also gotta say i love the art you made - the lox is my personal favorite :)
Yeah, you wouldn´t believe that this is done just with a regular ballpoint pen.
Made me think of the Spongebob episode where he draws a super detailed bust, then rubs it out to leave a circle lol
So satisfying to watch you draw. Your voice and art bring me lots of joy and peace.
I've always liked your ballpoint pen art a lot. Both cartoony style and realistic style look awesome with your technique!
And when you add watercolor as a pop of color, like to your portraits from years ago, it looks especially appealing to me.
Love it!
I’d love to see what you’d come up with with a set of colored ballpoint pens!
I was here for the ballpoint pen drawing but I give you a big thumbs up just because of your adorable kitty. :)
the sally cameos in this video were absolutely wonderful 😭💖💖 I used to draw with ballpoint pens a lot towards the end of high school - they're a very underrated supply!

I have seen your comment on hulloalice's video
I can almost smell the ink. I used to use these so much. Its smell is so unique.
The fox thing is my favorite. Its expression is so amusing.
My favourites were Sally (naturally...) followed by the witchy cat. I enjoyed them all though. Sally is simply a bundle of love...😻
I love your fantasy style illustrations!!
I thought the fox/lion creature was going to be my favourite then you did the husky. He’s gorgeous! Makes me want to grab some ballpoint pens and start sketching. Now to just tear myself away from Animal Crossing.
1:40 "you can have your own paper to sit on" omg, you guys are adorable xD.. its like ehhh here here, look you have paper like mine! Best scene :3
yeah it was so cute!!!!
I love watching artists show the true capability that a ball point pen possesses. Love your art always!
I live in a remote place, so I love your reviews bc buying art becomes a strategic mission, and you help with the research portion. Also, happy to report I CAN get these exact pens in my town hahah. Before then, it was only elite classes of society that could afford writing supplies. Ballpoint pens for the win!
The day I get confident enough to sketch in pen.. 😅 I love seeing artists who can do this
Sketching in ballpoint pen can be a nightmare, when you don’t have proper pressure control. But if there’s a graphite sketch base down, like she has, it’s not difficult. Both just take practice.
I had to practice a bit, but i got the hang of it and i like it more than drawing with a pencil
I love the way you drew the fabric of the witch cat’s scarf :3
Say to Sally "You're the best little nugget that keeps us sane during quarantine!!!!!!!!"
When you said a lot of cat you really meant it!
Thank you for admitting that you had sketched with a pencil before using the pen. I love videos like this! It's not only a tutorial I can use for myself, but also a challenge I enjoy watching!!
Sally makes me giggle!!! 😂
Great video 😃
Hi from Los Angeles, California. I'm not an artist, but I love watching your channel and Sally.
This was the Sally episode and my heart has never felt more full!! I'm so happy I saw this when I needed it *^-^*
People are such ass hats lol .. you can't read minds! I get it, I'm an artist with little to no money, but I still watch the videos because it's fun and I love your art ?? If they want to see you use XYZ, then they should suggest it, not make a back handed comment. 😒
They: BUY A SKETCHBOOK!! 😊
Me: drawing in the last page of a math book 😑
sally is great, i truly understand cats that just get in the way when they think you're doing nothing important. i love her.
The realism you can get from a ballpoint pen is unreal! Watching the process of going from basic circle to realistic cat like at the 2:40 example was amazing. I wish I had that kind of speed
That husky wowsa but I was laughing so hard at Sally, I never comment but had to, this was the cutest art video ever.
Sally very cute today, love when you do the unboxing or new supplies, saves me buying them and trying, you don’t come across as “buy this human or your just not an artist!” Keep being you this is why I watch.

"Draw a circle and then you have a cat". That was priceless.
Sally's purring oh my gosshh
Such a dear creature.... love how realistic your cat drawing was ! SO fast, you have great skill. A circle drawn; and then BOOM a cat
Whenever I was in school, I also did a lot of drawing with ball points. My favorite is the metal .7 Zebra BP, they have a wide range of line weight depending on the pressure used. They are also waterproof if you decide to use them with watercolors or other paints... Also, your art and Sally both are beautiful!
i LOVE sketching with a ballpoint pen! you can get really bold lines but also rough sketchy lines also AND it doesn't smudge AS badly as graphite.
I loved seeing your cat too!
Love all your videos! Neat to see this one too. Sally is always such a sweet addition :D
I love your cat so much
I had a ballpoint pen phase as well, and still find myself reaching for a regular old ballpoint pen here and there. It is just such a simple and versatile tool!

Absolutely hilarious video of Sally. Informative on sketching and shading
I love your review videos. Okay, I watch them all. You make interesting art. I love listening to you talk. Continue on the way you are! Please.
How could anyone resist Sally’s adorable little face??
I like all the drawings. But I love the Huskey. I am very happy you review & try new art supplies. I love to do mixed media myself. So it helps a lot to watch how different supplies perform for different artists & what they think of them for what is being charged for them. I rarely buy myself new art supplies. One reason is I buy the art supplies my daughter needs 1st, then myself. And I'm on a tight budget so it's VERY helpful. So thank you. And great job with a ballpoint pen. TYFS
I am not an artist and I love watching your videos. I even watch rhe review ones because I love watching you create art. I also love your accent!
I love these pens. I keep ballpoint pens around for sketching and writing!
omfg I absolutely love how Sally is constantly begging for the spotlight.
I'm only 2 mins in and I can't get enough~
Loved your cat
Ballpoint pens will always hold a special place in my heart as an accessible art supply but man I remember all the times the ink would come out in globs, smear, or just not come out at all. Oh my! Sally is sooooo fluffy and adorable! She is amazing ❤ the purr and the fluffy fur.
Now that it's said I can continue watching your video 😁😄🐈
absolutely. ballpoint pen is my favorite art tool.
I like watching all your videos. Even the reviews because you draw something in every video!!
All of those drawings are absolutely gorgeous!
Love your cat
How not to Draw......Let your cat sit on your desk.
Sally was so adorable in this video, even more so. I think she also agrees that you did awesome with just a ballpoint pen. Love that you drew three different pieces.
Really enjoyed this video! Thanks for keeping Sally in
I loved how your cat was the "spotlight" for your video! I LOVE to draw with the ballpoint pen (it's one of my main art supplies I use the most-I have several videos on my channel about it). I LOVE your third piece with the ballpoint pen! Great job!
These turned out great. I use ballpoint pens all the time. And I used to use up all the printer paper for drawing when I was younger.
Awesome work. I enjoy your videos, for your art, chat and cat intermissions
sally is so cuute she looks so soft
This pen is one of the best for me .I also like Bic Crystal very much
I love your product reviews. I actually love any and all videos you put out, so keep going!
Lox! A lion fox! Reminds me of Lowe, the German for lion! I love it!!!
You truly are talented, to be able to make art this beautiful with a simple pen! 😍😍😍
That's it! I am digging out a ballpoint pen! Thanks for the inspiration!
Sally stole the show, let me tell you ahaha
Oh man, I doodled so much with my ballpoint pens. All those little student fairs for college and stuff? Always picked up pens and just doodled on my notebook when bored.
Awwwww Sally melts my heart😢❤
I love watching you review new stuff!! Even if I'm not going to buy any of them they are still really fun and interesting to watch!! Lots of love to you and Sally 💙💙
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE when you draw husky!!!! I have never tried pen art but it looks interesting and I love the textures!!! Keep up the good work!💗💗💗💗
I love your review videos! Even if I don't plan on buying the supplies you are using now, I can still use them if I decide to try them out later! Also seeing you have fun making art is 95% of the reason I like your videos.
i love how you use the pen!! both drawings are really nice 💕 love your content as always
I love all the pics and i also love how sally was like hey pay attention to me now 😆
Sally we love you 😍 and we love your art kat!
I love your art style and you inspire me to do more art.
There honestly is no better intro to a video than Sally taking over all the attention :)
