The view from the camera on your head as you walk along icy, snow-covered ridge tops made of jagged, sharp rocks, while also jumping down from higher rocks to lower rocks is astounding. Seeing the winds blowing snow across the ridge tops while you walk to the edge to look over time and time again amazes me. This should have a million views!

I am obviously not FF, but I have climbed many of the same mountains as him. Oxygen isn't too precious on these mid-sized mountains, but the wind up there can suck the breath right out of your throat if it's harsh and cold enough.
At the start of the vídeo, with those red spots on the rocks I kept thinking "omg, bloody murder in the mountains!" 😂 It's amazing how we get to see some backstage footage of you videoing, and the dedication to make said videos! Those hands must have been cold!! ❄️ 🥶 Cheers, Krak, Portugal
This is a great add-on to the main channel. Personally, I wouldn't mind if you included segments without music during the vids too. I enjoy hearing just the environmental sounds sometimes, and a bit of Foresty Filosophyin' is always entertaining as well...

Just started the Moresty series and it is great to see the background, what a great idea you had! I will watch them regardless as it lets me see what I am missing as I am not able to do that kind of hiking any more. One thing, I would prefer to hear the wind and your footfalls to the organ music or whatever that stuff is :)

Love the close-up view of everything as you're passing through the landscape - really gives a sense of place. Some of the shots seem similar to the kinds of images we get from Mars. Probably some of the terrain - shattered rock - isn't totally different, minus the snow. Some of it looks terrifying from the camera perspective. Parts of the ridge looked like they could be crumbly? For the thousandth time, be safe Mr F :-).
Wow, one person's "day training" hike is another's extreme sport, I guess :-). Can you film a descend one of these days? I have no idea how one would get down from such steep slopes. Do you literally just slide down feet first to keep your center of gravity underneath you?

I think you are trying to match your inner meditation with the external visual. Grotto is great for that especially when no one there. I scramble solo a lot and this is the reason for me. Thanks for sharing
See, Foresty, when you don't post "timely" (like in a day or two), your loyal viewers fear for your safety, especially some of us who are afraid of heights and worry that wind might pick you up and sail you away. we just want to know you're safe (even though we totally get that you know what you're doing).
Have you ever reached a peak and there was no book to sign? Have you every left a book for others to sign? Looks like this very peak had no book. I spend a lot of time "watchng" you descend with my eyes closed and my stomach churning. I keep telling myself, "If the video is posted, moron, he got down just fine!" LOL
