Bhai.. The question isn't asking "increase or decrease in per capita gdp". Just think of it like this: Per capita gdp= gdp/total population. Agar koi working population vala kaam naa bhi kar raha ho, phir bhi vo population me to count hoga hi na Ya worker ki participation bhale hi kam ho, population me to count hoga hi. Issliye unki vajah se per capita gdp me to antar aayega hi(thus dependency)
