Frewway MT says " in 2012, 2008 model year C-Class looks already outdated". If you are one of the sheep that falls for that "oh you have to update because the newer model has arrived" crap, that is your problem. A friend drives a 1974 300E, and certainly "looks the period" it was made in. But it is in perfect condition, drives amazingly and has no problems whatsoever, just an excellently engineered car. As much crap as people talk about the W204 (this car), it is actually excellent, I have one of these and hasn´t given me any problems at all. And certainly looks better than the current C Class, at least this one has a particular appearance, and not like nowadays when MB has gone the Audi way of making every car a scaled version of the biggest car...
The C-Class actually isn't that expensive depending on the set-up, accessories, or if you choose the beast of a car that is the C-63 AMG. A low end 2013 C-Class 200 BE goes for about 300K SEK standard. Or about 33K€

i dont know if you live in a place where it snows
but it is common in Canada and I assume in some US states as well is that people give up on washing their cars once it starts snowing because even a little snow can make the car very dirty

even the c180 sounds like jet. i live south africa where its mostly warm. my neighbour has a 2011 c180 kompressor 60000km and it sounds like a jet engine everytime i see him.

I like the Merc but the back traction is very dangerous on winter.

Forgot to add that I was referencing the petrol C-Class and not the diesel. Which is the most powerful of the C-class petrol manual line.

I steam clean my engine bay and I have not had any problems with this.
I would not use like a pressure washer to do it though.

Ovidiu Diumea you should go with the Turbo one. The cgi one. I drove them both and the cgi engine is just smoother :) good luck

Worst sounding engine noise I have ever heard.
Sadly I don't think they focused on the sound of their basic lux-level vehicles at all. Unless of course their focus was the sounds of timing chain, supercharger, steering pump, and gearbox 😂😂
