Maggie has been "wowing" them on the Grand Ole Opry for years. She now has well over 100 appearances on that stage. I'm not sure that audience has an appreciation for the professionalism and CLASS she brings to that show. But the Opry management sure does. They'll book her in a NY minute which is exactly right. What we have is the sound of country and then we have Maggie thrown in there simply to add a sophisticated act so that the HIGH COST ticket buyers do not go home thinking they got cheated. Frankly, I am afraid she is going to get too big for that stage about like what happened to George Strait and Taylor Swift. But I Google WSM just looking for her name on the radio lineup. She's a closing act if every I saw one. You're right Maggie, IT IS A GREAT TIMETO BE ALIVE !!! Just to hear you sing is one reason why.
