No ...Kodi parakuthu is one of my favourite...all songs hit...bgm of that movie still hunting me...I'm talking about mother sentiment...Sujatha shout "babu" after that bgm...you will get goosebumps...still I'm a die hard fan to raja...but can't forget kodi parakuthu..I purchased first dvd movie is Kodi parakuthu.. you can feel how much mad about that...villain bgm two different characters of rajani's bgm heroin amala's bgm, all reminds on my mind..bharathiraja voice for opening dialogue as usual...that too my favourite...he gave voice to manivannan (villain) too.. bharathiraja voice for introducing each songs on cassette too my favourite..very poetic...last but not least ..."annai madiyil kan thiranthom"... I'll remember it until my death... specially that opening music of that song.. really goosebumps

Similarly, when I hear "Chinna kannan azhaikiran", it reminds me of A.R. Rahman's "Kandu konden Kandu Konden". It's hard to determine if these similarities stem from inspiration or imitation. However, I have immense respect for A.R. Rahman, who once mentioned, 'No one is perfect in the world'." But Maestro Ilayaraja's "Janani Janani" song only enough to proof his talent!
