Although my fav bet is $5.00 at .10, I like to start out on the lowest bet and work myself up to gauge the machine. Sometimes that $5.00 bet just does not hit so I try not to chase or attach so I can jump machines if it is not paying after trying different bets and denoms at say at midpoint to better preserve my bankroll.
